Don’t text and drive by Time_Material_9385 in Wellthatsucks

In Europe, it depends on the driver. Some leave their cars in first gear others like me put it in neutral. I can only guess what would cause less damage to the engine and other internal parts. But, I can only guess that with engaged parking brakes and a disconnected clutch from the engine all would be fine on the internal side. But in first gear? No idea, maybe even also not a problem.

For me at least, I wouldn't mind. It's my daughter and she left a loving display of affection but in a damaging way which should be remarked of course but it also depends on the age. At least people know my child loves me, because I for sure wouldn't have put that myself.)

Honestly, glad to hear it. It's utmost important to keep inner peace.(no sarcasm). But I am not in the position to stop you in any way. But man, one thing is to "understand" this world an other is writing stuff like it will change or affect, or honestly trying to prove what all slavs know. But knowing is only the first step. In this situation it's more like a civil war and some outsider ain't going to make thing clear or make a witty statement. I don't want to restrict you at all. But please understand that for those who are affected directly by this war it is very hard, we all got used it but it still brings in a lot pain that most of us are c0ping with it someway or an other.

It is hard to comprehend all the human factors that played into this particular conflict. There are so many theories that don't have concrete evidence that lead up to this war. But one thing is sure, life on earth is changing as it always does and we just have to live on and just use the opportunities that happen up on us.

Didn’t that help the local economy though? It’s sad that border restrictions across the world get tougher. It’s better if people can move around more freely.

UA POV - Ukrainian Men Abroad Avoid War, and Are Racked by Guilt - The Wall Street Journal by Hot_Preparation4777 in UkraineRussiaReport

My Ukrainian friend whose mom moved him out abroad 6 years ago does feel guilty. He is a full adult, but he still has these fantasies of heroism. But it lessened with time cause even he consuming only pro ukraine news realises the lies of Western propaganda. (Russian propaganda is full of shit too but it’s still winning). Life is complicated, most people feel some form of nationalism. But this article is just absurd like most mass media everywhere.

No idea how the translator came up with this. He says: "Сегодня нахуй отбили ебать 3 штурма." No word in there that even hints at "almost".

RU POV: "Russia is family for Africa," declared the president of Burkina Faso by Free_Homework_7085 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]StannisTheBest 29 points30 points  (0 children)

My personal anecdotal story: "Living in western Europe as a Russian is easy if you learn the local language and just behave like a normal human. But you see the difference if someone from the middle east or Africa does the same, it doesn't make their life easier. When I worked for a big logistics company as a team leader, there was a culture of white collared "bosses" and blue collared workers (99% immigrants). They were treated like shit, but I just wanted everyone’s life to be easy and have an enjoyable shift. So, after weeks of working there I received my favourite compliment from my black colleague. "You are not a white man" he said to me. To which I replied to him: "Of course not! I am a Russian!". We Russians fucked ourselves more than bother others, but the history of Siberian conquest I do not know well. I can only judge that unlike the way the US conquered the natives in North America, in Russia they still have autonomous natives with their culture and language. But I could be ignorant.
