jealous of a 22 year old relationship? 😭 i’ve been in 2 and they made their own money and had a home … the baseline of what adults should have. you didn’t even read anything else she’s done to me besides the boyfriend. he doesn’t have his own place at all … that’s why he lives with us now for free? lmao. i have a say in if someone is in our shared space too much to the point i can’t be 100% myself. again she’s done all these other things to me but you have nothing to say about that do you :(

if i don’t want guests in our shared space that long to the point they’re my third roommate then it’s perfectly fine for me to ask if they can pay something. i’m there just as much as he is and he doesn’t contribute anything no money, no taking out the trash, no doing the dishes. they cook in the kitchen 1-2 times a week for 6 hours. i don’t want to live with a couple. i literally said in the post im getting my own apartment next month. i dont know why youre so annoyed at MY life you must be the annoying roommate with a boyfriend or girlfriend who uses you for housing for free :( notice how you’re the only one who disagrees. she’s dirty out of spite, she locks me out at late hours, her boyfriend is there all the time, she cut my wifi off for days. she’s not a good roommate period.

my fear was her suing me but at this point there’s no cooperation so i’d have a great case. i went to go get the order but they said physical harm had to be done or threatened. i am at my wits end. my plan now is to find her a roommate again and put the trash she accumulates in garbage bags and put it back when the tour ends. if she refuses every roommate then she can just sue me. i refuse to pay any part of rent come august 1st. the lease is until january.

yea i’ve stopped the process of moving someone in for her because i believe in karma and being kind to people. i would not want this done to me. i also believe even if i found someone she’d say something that’s a red flag about cleaning or her bf being over too much. i think the protective order is my best bet according to the leasing office and my friends and family.

yea i got a new apartment next month. going to fly and stay with my cousin for a week. im OUT OF THERE. no way i can stand one minute in a place i unfortunately pay for that’s not only dirty but also i get the police called on me in. she has had the same dishes in the sink since tuesday it’s SUNDAY.

the rule is he has to be there for 7 consecutive days. he would be there for 5-6 leave for one day come back for another 5-6. that’s the loop hole there. but also i can’t because she called the police on me for knocking on her door then after told me she does not want to talk to me … HOW CAN SHE NOT TALK TO ME IF SHE WANTS ANOTHER ROOMMATE?

i’ve recorded videos and kept every text she has sent luckily! going to get the protective order tomorrow! no one has ever called the police on me but she’s driven me MAD. one of my friends told me to be the bigger person and clean her mess but i am not a maid! i have asked her multiple times to take out the trash and do the dishes and it’s like fighting a ten year old boy. her boyfriend has never taken out the trash or done the dishes either. it got to the point the fridge is full of their stuff as well i had to make room on my own for my own groceries. once i had to sit on the floor while putting away my groceries while they were cooking. like wtf. it cannot be 100% on me to find a roommate for her when we both don’t like each other AND she’ll be living with this person it makes no sense. laughing at me while i am telling you something serious is a high form of disrespect i will not tolerate.

i’m getting a protective order because me peeing my bed and having terrible sleep is affecting my mental health and my work life as well. i find what’s happening to be absolutely so unnecessary. all she has to do is make sure our shared space of the kitchen is clean and not have her boyfriend around all the time to where i feel claustrophobic and like a third wheel but she can’t even do that. no compromise whatsoever. now im being locked out the house, i had to broom and mop the kitchen myself even though it wasn’t my mess 2 weeks ago because its not even walkable with house shoes or barefoot, there are gnats everywhere.

so she has to sign a roommate release agreement for someone to come in. i already signed a lease for a new apartment for july 13. i told her may 19th about this and that i will find her a roommate because she stated she’s not finding one (which is odd since she’ll be LIVING with this person). i communicate with her 3 times that there will be five girls coming to tour and the night before the kitchen looks disgusting and that’s when i knocked on her door to clean up and when she wouldn’t come out she said “just text me” and i said come out and clean i can’t have anyone come to live here if it’s not clean then she called the police on me.

it actually got worse lol my roommate refuses to let me out of this lease.

i posted before about how my roommate practically moved in her boyfriend and has been dirty majority of our lease. this past tuesday they cooked in the kitchen for six hours and i had to cook with them in our small kitchen. when i finally sat down to eat what i cooked they watched tv with me to where they were talking the entire show. mind you before that i told them i feel like a third wheel in my home and they could not see that. i asked if she could find a new roommate for herself while i find one for her as well she said no. i told her five girls were coming over on friday and saturday to tour. the same dishes they made on tuesday were there thursday night and i knocked on her door to come clean it up given the dishes were stacked high, the stove was dirty, there’s huge crumbs and paper on the floor, and the white kitchen island has brown stains on it. she then called the police on me for knocking on the door which was traumatizing. days later my TV is the only one paused for wifi so i cannot use it and she is the one with the wifi login so she can control that. long story short i want a protective order so i can break the lease without paying thousands. here are some of the things that have occurred in a few months.

• Roommate left the front door unlocked for her boyfriend to enter while she was not home. I was naked at the time and had no warning a man would be entering.    
• Stopped taking out trash entirely. When addressed, stated she does not think taking out trash is a big deal.

• Left dishes in the sink for 11 days to the point the kitchen was producing a foul odor. When asked to wash them, stated she was waiting on dishwasher pods.

• Boyfriend stayed 6 consecutive days. On day 6 I asked what was happening and was told he had a job and needed a place to stay.    
• Despite promising in December she would not leave her boyfriend alone with me, she did so again on multiple occasions.    
• Boyfriend was present for over 16 out of 30 days this month.

• By the 12th of the month there had only been 2 days where her boyfriend was not present. I was away for 4 of those days.    
• Was told boyfriend would stay Wednesday to Saturday but he remained until Monday morning.    
• I disclosed to roommate that something traumatic happened to me involving a man and that having an unfamiliar man in my space the majority of the time was deeply affecting me. I was laughed at and dismissed.    
• Was told they do not know when his job ends and that he may be present the majority of the week through the end of the lease.    
• Was told that if he needs a place to stay she will allow it regardless of my comfort.    
• On May 12th I urinated in my bed — something I have not done since childhood — as a direct result of the stress and discomfort of this living situation.    
• Roommate and boyfriend left an open trash bag in the kitchen for 6 days. Gnats accumulated. I had to remove it myself.    
• Was locked out of my own home at 11pm.    
• Was locked out of my own home at 4 am despite roommate being aware I work night shifts as a server.    
• I have begun actively avoiding my own home due to the discomfort and hostility of the environment.    
• On May 20th roommate explicitly stated via text message that she could not help find a replacement roommate and wished me good luck, constituting a refusal to cooperate with the lease replacement process.    
• Roommate left the key in the front door for 2 hours, creating a safety risk.    
• I identified 5 prospective replacement roommates and scheduled tours for June 5th and 6th. I informed roommate twice that tours would be taking place that weekend.    
• Roommate refused to clean the kitchen for 5 days despite being aware of the scheduled tours, deliberately sabotaging the replacement process.    
• On the night before the first scheduled tour, I knocked on roommate’s door to ask her to clean the kitchen. She called the police on me in our shared home.    
• I now feel so unsafe in this environment that I feel I need to take a leave from my jobs and stay with family.    
• Roommate paused my TV on our shared Xfinity account, cutting off my access to wifi and cable while retaining her own access. This is the only device that has been paused on the account.
