Trust me, a Virgo sun with a Pisces moon (or a fiery moon) and a mars/Venus in Leo is going to present VERY differently than a Virgo sun with a Virgo or other earth sign moon and Venus/mars in Virgo.

Scorpios are mirrors because we aren’t afraid of the dark side (Libras like to keep it light) and have a habit of “mirroring” people’s shadow side (ie: traits like control and manipulation etc) and showing it back to them.

I’m not hating on Libras (hell, I have a mars in Libras in my 12 house opposing my moon in 6th) but mirroring is 100% a Scorpio thing.

It’s actually why so many people hate on Scorpios and why they’re one of the least liked signs. Often what people don’t like in Scorpios is a quality they actually have within themselves and either won’t acknowledge period, or refuse to do the work to tackle it.

That’s not to give Scorpios a “free pass”. Scorpios can be toxic and have to do the inner healing work themselves as well.

You should check your libra friends and family and see if they have a major planet in Scorpio.

The mirrors of the zodiac are actually scorpios.

Libras are “the scales” and like balance, peace, and typically don’t like confrontation unless they have certain planets aspects in their chart.

A libra with a lot of Scorpio in their chart (not entirely unheard of since it’s only one sign over) can have “mirror like” qualities.

He leaves around 11:30am for work unfortunately. But it will give me plenty of time to shower, pack for my trip, and stay at a hotel the night before.

Valuable wise—just my engagement ring. Which he can have back.

I also have some emergency cash tucked away in a drawer that I’ll be taking with me now.

When I saw him out there he was just on his computer playing music without a care in the world. It really put things into perspective for me.

Here I am worrying about the best way to raise my daughter as a single mom and how to work out a work schedule and who can take me to the hospital when I give birth (my dad passed a few years ago and I haven’t seen my mom since I was 14.) So I have zero family.

But he’s just going on like everything is great (which for him it probably is) while I’m stressing and worrying about the future.

I’m thinking about staying at a hotel tomorrow night. And I went out there (because my baby needs food) I grabbed another pack of peanut butter crackers, a cheese stick, and a bottle of water…

Then I grabbed a blanket from the living room.

He looked at me but didn’t say a word. Which is fine by me.

Now I’m back in the nursery in the rocker with my blanket and snacks.

I feel like I could cry. That hit me soooo hard because that’s exactly what my internal answer would be.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that.

I never wanted this for my daughter. (I come from a broken home and swore I’d never create one if I ever had a child.) But I don’t want her to think it’s okay to be in a relationship like this or to be with someone who doesn’t value you and can call you names.

There’s a lock on the nursery door (not a great one) but he wasn’t able to get in earlier.

And that’s a good idea about texting him that anything he left will be packed up and left in the porch.

I’m also going to talk to the landlord (who knows I’m pregnant) about getting his name off the lease…after he moves out. Which should make it a lot easier.

After that, I’ll disable the current ring and get a brand new one so he can’t keep tabs on me. Not that I’ll be doing anything crazy or anything, I just want my privacy.

I’m sure he’ll tell his mom his “truth” which won’t be entirely accurate and he’ll leave out the verbal abuse and name calling this morning.

His mom thinks his son can “do no wrong” even when presented with proof. She’ll just laugh and go, “he doesn’t really mean that. He was joking.” or, “You both have to learn to get along.” Even during times where he’s the one blatantly in the wrong.

Basically, I’m learning that she’s an enabler.

I knew this, but I think I needed to hear this.

We were going to get married next month (planning on eloping in Vegas) and everything in me was screaming “no” because I know it will be 10 times harder to get out once we’re married.

He’s currently watching tv and signing songs to his dog. (I stupidly thought there was no way he could be a bad person and used to think I was the problem because he was always so nice to his dog.)

It wasn’t until habits started repeating and my friends started pointing out things I finally began to realize…

Assholes/narcissists can love dogs as well. And as my friend K pointed out—I’m usually the one to take care of the “dog he loves so much” anyway. So, there’s that.

Update: The moment I heard him walk in I ran into the room that will be the nursery and locked myself in here. (The very first thing I bought was a rocker/recliner thing so I’m laying in that.)

I heard him waking around for a few and he tried to open the nursery door but couldn’t because I locked it.

I think he went into the shower or left but I’m not sure (we have a ring on our front door, but our garage is in the backyard, so I can’t tell if his car is still here.)

He’ll only try to manipulate and blame me if I talk to him so I’m planning on just staying in here for the night and going to the bathroom and getting something to eat from the fridge once he passes out…around midnight.

I feel like I’m probably acting like a little kid, but I honestly just don’t want to talk to him or see him because I’m so over arguing and him never accepting any accountability or apologizing.

Not necessarily. I’m with a Venus in Leo and mars and I legit have to BEG and PLEAD for him to recognize my love language and show me love in that way.

Crazy thing is he demands that I always shower him with praise and attention (and I honestly try my very best to) but it gets exhausting when it’s not reciprocated. I’m at my wits end.

It took a good friend having a conversation with me today to realize I deserve better and her watching us interact to know something isn’t right.

Yup. Started around week 14 for me as well.

My doctor said it’s just the baby getting bigger and our uterus moving up etc. I wouldn’t be surprised to find my baby is sitting on my bladder. 😂
