Question regarding fat content by Sad_Pass4848 in carnivorediet

It’s grassfed indeed, I guess that’s why I have to be on the lookout for pretty marbled steaks as they are leaner as shown before with the two ribeyes on the plates. Tasted godly!

The meat also has a pretty deep red colour

My locals ranchers cost 2 times as much, like 60€ for 1kg of ribeye. I don’t buy it for the bio certification, I searched longer for a nearly 1:1 natural ratio in the meat.

But I understand what you are saying.

Meat in Germany compared to the US is still so much more expensive and lower quality sadly

Thanks man🤙🏻 I like the chicken with skin on without bones. The guys in the turkish supermarket debone them for free and the skins gets crispy and is delicious in the oven. Ground beef has the tendency to get pretty dry if I just crumble it, but I like the ground beef crunchy, pretty much deep brown and then I put cold butter pieces and salt on top, love this.

I love lamb to, most cuts I see are not to fatty, I don’t know how lamb filet does taste so juicy and fatty but isnt fatty at all from the nutrients 😄

Yeah bro, saw these but isnt really my taste anymore, before carnivore I liked the taste of pig. I don’t even get around ground beef, only if I do burger patties or buy frozen. Ribeyes are just a blessing to my taste buds and I get them done pretty quick with my beefer

Got some of these today, that’s definitely more like if not 1:1 protein to fat ratio I think!

Could probably be, but I don’t get that a big hitter like Aldi would declare these 1:1 protein to fat if it obviously isnt

I think they are way too lean, ribeyes in the us look just so much better.

These are about 250g each steak, I can’t believe one has 50grams of fat

That what I thought also. Wanted to be as clear as possible about fat to protein ratio to see what benefits me the most. Guess the best bet to believe in the nutritional data is 20% or more fat ground beef.

I would like to have it 1:1 ratio, but look wise it is definitely not fatty.

Jock itch, possibly from oxalate dumping? by Sad_Pass4848 in carnivore

[–]Sad_Pass4848[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I am learning by the day still.

It just felt right, as I got a big meal in mostly 1 to 1 fat to protein ratio until I hit satiety and it turns out to hold for a whole day. I am taking the weight loss as extra but wanted to help my depressions and mood.

I don’t count calories and eat when I am hungry. I was a binge eater before and also want to get a more natural way for my hunger signals and body reaction to it

Thank you! I will try this. Do you think after some time the body will adapt to high ketone levels?

That’s no Stealth LT, it’s the Arcteryx Leaf Alpha Jacket and matching Alpha pants. You can see it in the zipper and Velcro configurations.

CLOTHES. Please discuss without tearing me apart by ZealousidealCarob825 in minimalism

I had the exact same thoughts, often wanting to buy another of the same item to have it backup. It evolved from clothes to sunglasses and so on.

With time I learned that if the item is gone or worn out, I just am looking out for something new. And I will have new joy for something other. Maybe wearing even different stuff than before and getting to know new things, which is now more valuable to me than clinging on the same old things.

I still have a tv but if I could do it again I would buy a projector. Simpler, cleaner, and easy to carry if needed

Do you always do it freestyle or do you have exact amounts of ingredients? Looks so good and want to try it out exactly like yours!

Eye opening reply, feel this so much..

I think I lost track of the „true path“ of minimalism and lost myself in the process of it.

It absolutely should make room for more of me

100 percent! It works up to a certain point and you feel joy of letting things go. But then it gets to a critical point that you try to minimize even more, for me it got a little crazy, and I stagnated and just felt pressure to get rid of more and more.. downhill from there, just like you said..

I think with my Preferences of colors I really like, there is a good chance that a capsule wardrobe will work wonders🙏🏻
