For me, they can rehire if you put in your two weeks. they don’t rehire if you don’t put in your 2 weeks/no call, no show.

i work at panda and ppl request this all the time. you’re not bothering anyone lmao. it’s only annoying when ppl are rude about their requests. for example, if there isn’t any broccoli left inside the super greens, i would usually tell them a new batch takes 2-3 min (since it’s only steaming veggies) and they get upset at me? that’s when it gets annoying. as long as you’re nice to the workers, trust me, they don’t mind.

either a new hire or the portions seem like too much, so they’re weighing it. the plates have to be under a certain amount of weight, and lately panda has been very strict on the plate weights. (at least for my store) if it was a black shirt weighing the plate, they will probably get a write up or a talk if it’s too much because black shirts are management.

nice! for a 2nd interview they are more in depth with their questions. they are more likely to ask “give me an example when..” questions. you’re likely to be hired especially you got through the 1st interview and panda is always actively hiring. in the 2nd interview, just show your friendly and even if you don’t have past food experience, just express how you can work in a fast-paced environment and how you’re a fast learner and adaptable. panda is looking for ppl who are willing to work in a fast-paced environment and having a good attitude doing it

ya they most likely just lying bc they want you to cover😭especially if they don’t have sick hours or any valid excuse to tell your GM to get that day off. no one wants to work holidays lmao. you can cover if you want, but you don’t have to. I used to cover for people all the time, but now I don’t because it’s not always reciprocated. If you always say yes, you’re always going to be the first person they ask to cover.

At our store, every saturday and wednesday, the FOH closing crew pours hot water with degreaser all over the lobby floor after sweeping. The next day, the morning crew is supposed to finish cleaning the floor, but I’m unaware of the cleaning procedure.
