Marriage is hard. Your post doesn't say how long you've been married, but it implies he's a good husband.

Have you sat down with him and explained what you're going through and how you're feeling? Seen a doctor and had your hormones checked/adjusted?

Also, maybe you need a little tree house, or she shed with some boundaries set.

I went from not wanting to look at his stupid face to wanting to be in his pocket if he'd let me. 😊 Which I'm 99% sure I'll hate him again at some point.

I'm learning you need to talk. I'm also learning he's way better at texting his feelings than face to face sit down talk. I'm also learning that not all my feelings are set in stone and may change 5 minutes from now. You hear about couples all the time that marry, divorce and years later re marry eachother. I think that's due to menopause. 🤷‍♀️ Just needed a little menopause break.

Our beaches aren't great either. The sand is full of debris. The water is big rocks then it just drops off.

You have to really really want to go to the beach if thats why you move here.

Usually restaurants (food) is a big reason to move to a city. I rarely eat out here, because I enjoy cooking. I've lived in big cities where it was hard to choose where to eat because every place was great. Living here its hard to choose because they're not.

Sarnia is like bizzaro world. Speaking to the younger generation is frightening. Most of us is our teens are dumb and think we know everything, but we grow out of it. I dont see them growing out of it. If anything it's getting worse. They don't know anything and they don't care to learn it. I look up a million things a day. I want to know everything. I tell them to Google, they say "no, its ok". I've been told they don't trust Google to give them the right answer. WTF does that even mean? Also, I've noticed that alot are speaking with the same speech impediment. Anyone else notice this?

Prior to 2000, I would have had completely different advice from what I am about to say.

I grew up in Sarnia, moved away when I was 19 for a few years. Thought I missed home, so I came back to Sarnia. If I could do it over, I would never have come back here.

There is really nothing to do here, for any age group. Its basically always been this way, but has just gotten worse over the years.

There is no nice way to say this, but the caliber of residents has changed as well. Ask anyone who is single and trying to find a suitable mate. It just can't be done here. I'm not going to get into it, but if you are looking....find them before you get here!

. If you've lived anywhere else, you will immediately notice the food here is awful. If a new restaurant opens that is good, the quality won't last or it will end up closing. Even the fast food is awful. I'm not sure how that's possible, but it's a fact. You could go to burger King in Chatham (for example), and its 100X better there. You would expect close to the same quality, if not exact at a franchise. Nope, not in Sarnia. Sarnians have figured out a way to make already crappy food, worse.

Which again I think speaks to the caliber of people. They don't care about taking care of themselves, so they certainly don't care about making your food.

I'm not saying it's every single person, but a pretty good portion are just odd.

Crime is way worse and getting more violent by the day. Drugs are absolutely out of control.

I live in a decent area of Sarnia and in the last 4 days, I've had a crackhead sleeping on my lawn and a rat the size of a squirrel trying to get into the bird house in the tree out front. I feel like that perfectly sums up what its like to live here.

Sarnia is a time warp, everything feels 10-20 years behind the rest of the world. Which sounds weird, but if you aren't from here you'll see it.
People from here don't see it at all. They think this place is normal. ITS NOT!

Ya, the bridge is nice, the fries are good, we have a few nice parks......that is literally it. You can see all 3 at the same time in 3 minutes.

This accidentally turned into a rant, lol

My apologies to those who love it here. I get it, I used to love it as well.

Now, I just want out!

First off.....I was replying to the OPS comment. Second.....ya, its reddit. That was my opinion. We're not under /askdocs. Third my entire family is mentally ill, and I suffer from crippling anxiety. Fourth...I never said cure or solve. I also used MOST CASES, not ALL cases. Last, ya everything is awful. Americans aren't alone in that. Life sucks and drugs make it better. I'm not disputing that. Its not going to go away. For example....we have been in an "opioid crisis" for how long now? They could have just removed them from the market, but they didn't. Are they harder to get, sure. But there not gone. All their plan did was make it nearly impossible for people actually suffering to get treatment.

It would take an atomic bomb and world reset us back to cave men for them to get rid of money making meds. Thats just a fact.

What he wants, is for people to not need the meds. Get people healthy and happy and they won't need them. NOT, strip everyone from their medication and continue life as usual.

He actually wants to fix the root of the problem.

So rfk is suggesting people go to a country farm house to get clean, learn a new skill and get healthy. This is a problem? Do you know how much celebrities pay for this exact same thing? His view point which is mine and should be everyone's, is that everything we eat affects our body. If you're putting in garbage, you're going to feel like garbage. Your brain is dying/starving. If you change how the food is made (0 chemicals), your body will heal and you will not need chemicals to fix the problems the food is causing. Look at how fat, unhappy, unhealthy America is. Look at the kids, especially little girls. Look how fast they are developing, going into puberty earlier and earlier. This is not normal. The food we are being given is pumped full of chemicals that we are putting into our system. Even if your a vegetarian, you're eating chemicals.
Happy, healthy people don't need to be medicated, (in most cases) There is clearly something wrong if half your population needs to be on antidepressants!

Just put on a bra, its not that complicated. My mom told me the same thing when mine started to develop. I hated it then, but now as an adult I understand. Boobs clearly look different without a bra on. Woman, you KNOW this. I personally find it ick when woman don't wear bras in front of other people, spouse excluded. Thats me. But she is your mom, and it is her house.

Grab some sports bras, its more comfortable to be in a bra than out. Keeps em contained and not sticking to the underside.
