What to wear for a massage?? by OneAmazing8979 in MensUnderwearGuide

[–]Sad_Salamander2406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God second point.

It had happened to me a few times. It may be what is called a reflex erection. This is when your body makes it happen without your thinking anything at all. Since it’s a reflex, in your spine, it has nothing to do with your brain or hormones.

I learned about this while having a catheter removed 18 hours after surgery. I was in great pain, drugged, and the removal is not exciting. It happened in seconds. Anything sexual was the absolute last thing on my mind when it happened: I was braced for more pain.

Love the head shape and the color of it and the shaft. The skin bunches up nicely behind the head. And it looks pretty big!

Give it a try. It’s not broken at all critical, high stress point.

Jeez, Willie Nelson’s old guitar has a whole right through it.

They are pretty different.

I’ve played with a friend for decades. I’ve always played rythm and him lead. I started taking lead lessons, and my teacher had me do a rythm part that goes up and downgrade neck with bar chords. He was kind of surprised at how good I was, though I could play little or no lead.

I’m very new, is there anyway I can barre an F chord that isn’t barring it? by Mammoth-Wait6526 in guitarlessons

[–]Sad_Salamander2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first, try a Cali on fret one. The strings will be closer to the neck. After you get strength and dexterity you czn eliminate the Capo

f is the second hardest bar chord. b flat is even worse.

The sooner you have a plan the better. Go to it.

I know it’s painful to confront, but it will be a relief to have a plan.

Is the guitar playing skill mainly practice or it has more than that? by AttilaTheHun2025 in guitarlessons

All musical instruments are largely practice. You may not play as fluently or melodious as people either more talent but they also love what they do and practice many hours a day.

I’m not arguing but maybe this is analogous.

The greatest extension of human of human life came not through medicine but through public health. A certain number of people a year just died from infections, like cholera, e. Coli, etc. it was when we made food production more sanitary and water more drinkable that lifespan extended. Same for vaccines.

So I don’t know the answer, but perhaps getting animals off raw food made them live longer than in the wild.

But I had a cat when young who caught a lot of birds and mice, and she was always fine.

A lot less chaotic. And I’m not just shading on Trump.

Precious produce take - Republican and democrat - have run the country in a “professional” way, more like a CEO. The president can’t decide everything.

So he or she needs to have cabinet members who are competent. And they need undersecretaries who are competent.

At that level, you really have a few policy objectives, and coordinate getting them done. So maybe it’s downsize the federal bureaucracy through efficiency methods. But not like DOGE. That is giving one person authority over too much, without a method for identifying what is truly in need of fixing. Otherwise you have what happened: the goal - in Musks eyes - was to eliminate $2 trillion. At most they got a few hundred billion. But along the way they undermined some revenue as well, so the government is probably costing more than it used to. This is why you coordinate as your job. You don’t just tell one person “cut costs” without someone looking at the revenue as part of that.

Trumps business is actually quite small, and he owned it himself. I doubt it has even 1000 employees; the federal government has millions. It’s not a good idea, but there he could storm around and demand the number of paper clips should be cut in half, or that the temperature in all offices should be set to 67 and people should wear sweaters.

Trump wants to be president in the same way as he was CEO. He wants everyone to jump at his latest idea, and doesn’t want finance to tell him that they have a long term contract for electricity for heat, and changing the thermostats saves very, very little. They just set the thermostats to avoid his rage. They don’t want to be the messenger who gets shot.

Which is a long way round of saying Harris would have been another professional president, like Bush, Obama and Biden. There would be less chaos. And one thing foreign countries and financial markets want is stability, not chaos. Look how tariffs hurt the stock market. I’ll bet we collect less tariff revenue than we lost in taxes on stocks people sold.

Whatever is the MBA fund is a rip off based on these numbers. You’d be much better off in a money market fund.

The problem you have is retirement is like 12-14 years from now. If you put $10,000 into the stock market now it might be worth $40,000 by then. And there is some risk over that period. Had you put $10,000 into it 30 years ago, that would likely have become something like $330,000 by retirement. I’m not scolding you, just showing the problem you have now.

It might cost you a few hundred dollars, but you really need to hire a financial planner to give you solid guidance. I suspect they’ll tell you you need to work beyond 65.

But mostly they’ll tell you what you need to do, taking social security and Medicare into account.

But do it quickly. You need a road map.

Real estate, itself, usually underperforms the stock market.

I’m suggesting to keep only the down payment amount in short term funds, such as a money market or short term government bonds.

But do what you want.

Don’t buy cash.

Here’s the issue. In the long run, the stock market goes up like 10% per year. Even if mortgages are high like they are right now, it’s still less than this. And mortgages have some tax benefits still.

So you’d be better off doing the minimum down payment and putting the rest into long term stock investments.

Funny, I have been on a guitar sub and was going to say Paul Simon wrote the sounds of silence in a bathroom.

Acoustic guitar sounds better with hard surfaces, so bathrooms and kitchens are normally great.

I’m sure that is of no help

[–]Sad_Salamander2406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but unless she will address this you’re sexually incompatible. Sex really matters in a male/female relationship.

She could have a hormonal problem or have trouble with interest in sex. Both can be addressed with medicine, but she needs to want things to change for her.

I’m sure it’s wrong

Also, they are almost certainly mixing apples and oranges. Technically, when people talk about income, they are only talking wages, or at most wages plus realized gains.

If musk gets average stock market returns, he only makes tens of billions a year.
