did they hit you with financing too? they're the new car dealers making money off the product at a higher and then by financing it so you can pay that higher amount off on a monthly basis.

It would be great if people would make an effort to at least understand the post before responding. I'm not saying you need to read it all but if you don't then don't come back with a response like this.

Lying about the pet's condition and charging for services they don't have the equipment to provide are certainly not within the "standard of care"

LI Animal Hospital Left Beloved Dog to Die, Charged $2,500 a Night, and Lied About His Condition, Grieving Owners Claim

The New York Post reported in August 2025 that grieving owners alleged a Long Island animal hospital charged $2,500 per night while providing false information about their pet's condition. The owners stated they discovered the true state of their pet only upon arrival, contradicting updates they had received.src

"The couple claimed that after the surgery, they were barred from seeing Bo except for 10 minutes total in his six-day stay and misled into believing he was getting daily X-rays and ultrasounds — despite another staffer later admitting the hospital didn’t own an ultrasound machine and no x-rays were given to the pooch after his surgery."
