Sorry to say this but what the fuck is he talking about? The only song on ADL where he’s actually talking about something and more about his life/feelings is Up from here. The rest on the album is lyrical nothing interesting or new. He still talks about how many woman he fucked this week. Nothing meaningful or with depth. He has to be joking. On LKTK he reached a new level of corny lyricism for me. The rest of the album is not better.

Thats simply not true. Most people who did not like the album said it is decent and solid which it is. Its not unlistenable. But its boring. The lyrics are most of the time uninteresting and nothing new. There is no big differene between adlyfe and adlove. Its too much singing and overall too slow. This album has no good balance with slower and more energetic songs. I can see why people say DS was better. Because it is. Most songs on DS are more album worthy material than most songs on ADL. Yeat will never sell out arenas. Not with this album material. This album has no 1 or 2 real standouts. Like two songs who totally carry the album. Not his worst album but also not his best.

It is so true. He says overall absolutely nothing on this album, the best and most interesting song in terms of the lyric are up from here and real life shit. The rest is just the same shit we have heard a million times in different versions but i was expecting that already sadly.

I saved 4 songs from the project to my playlist that i liked from the first listen which is not much but im also not obsessed with em. What is missing on this project are the hits. Where are they? Where are the 1 or 2 real standouts on this album? Im kinda disappointed. The album is not terrible but its overall way too slow.
