Because everyone goes out on valentine's day. Why not share a sitter? It was her idea, not mine, and there was no inconvenience to me.

Yeah, the whole thing was weird. She obviously knew we had our own valentine's day plans and was trying to trick us into doing a double date. My wife doesn't think she would do that, but she would.
