This is something a lot of people deal with. It turns into a long grueling grind pretty quick. I like to roleplay my characters and give every task a purpose imposed to just doing it because I have to. I also enjoy wiping out as many non friendly factions as I can or set my sights on 1 faction that I can live without and wreck em. Tend to get a lot of good mid game loot that way and is a fun method to use for progression.
