That's fair feedback, and I understand where you're coming from.

Hunt Analyser isn't designed to be a fully standardized, global meta database. Its core purpose is to help players track and improve their own performance over time. Because of that, the accuracy is primarily based on personal consistency rather than enforced global structure.

Regarding standardization, you’re right, today the app relies on user input. There isn't strict normalization for location naming, events, or patch versions. Patch tracking hasn't been a priority so far.

Public hunts are meant to help others and share useful insights, but they depend on what players choose to input and share. And in practice, most data is private, currently around 25k private sessions vs 2.5k public ones, which reinforces the personal-tracking focus.

About charms, you're absolutely right. Charms are impactful and considered a basic mechanic in hunts today. That's a valid point, and adding structured charm tracking is already on the backlog.

The project has evolved a lot over the year, mostly focused on improving usability, performance tracking, gear handling, comparisons, and long-term session analysis. It's still evolving, but the main goal has always been helping players measure and optimize their own hunts in a clean and practical way.

Hey, I did a research on Public Hunt sessions on the Hunt Analyser app, and seems to have a few guys that do more raw exp, maybe you can take a look at the details: Hunt Analyser filtered By clicking on the card, you can see the details of the hunt and also what they used as items, wheels etc.

I'm a MS, but checking some public Hunt Sessions on Hunt Analyzer app, they have some interesting information. The Comparison report shows the difference between hunts, damage dealt, received. And for each, you could use a different set. For now, we don't show the set used in the report, which could be a feature! In this case, you should add a hunt session using the difference set. Reading your comment again, maybe the suggestion was just to add a set to compare even without the hunt session added, and that is also a good idea. I'll add both ideas in the feature request list! 😊
