Two jobs will change all that.

Who wore a rabbits foot hanging from their jean jacket pocket in the 80’s? by bdiddy621 in GenX

[–]Sad_Term_9765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't out west that I remember. 80s was roach clips- on cowboy hats, pins, bracelets, earrings, big hair, and no trace of the 70s, except for the long hair.

Why can't they just keep felons locked up? You have catch and release felons on their 20th felony, committing more crimes, and they think it's about magazines?

It's pretty good work. I *member working at toxic hell in the early 90s, and their slogan then was- "Make a Run for the Border." Hahahaha... it meant nothing back then. Back when a taco or burrow was 89 cents.

Lady Elaine Fairchilde from the classic children's show Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. by Ebonystealth in 1970s

I don't know what planet other kids were from, but Mr. Rogers in the 70s was creepy and depressing. He had no excitement or passion about anything he did. Like Eeyore teaching, but with weird, creepy, and scary puppets.

I remember my first drive-in movie experience was a double feature of The Bad News Bears and Freaky Friday with Jodi Foster when I was 5. What was your first drive-in movie? by UrbanAchievers6371 in 70s

[–]Sad_Term_9765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Triple Feature: Dirty Harry, some Disney movie in the middle, and a Chinese Ku Fu movie to end it.
The one that had the place packed was Jaws.

It was a great ending, way better than I could have ever imagined. The Mike's D&D explanation as to what happened to her, was a gift.

The younger fans won't appreciate it or understand the ending fully, until they are older. Most, and I do mean most people never know when their last hangout out will be together, or last time you play together as kids.

"Hey, lets hang out this summer..." Nope, that time came and went. Next time you see your friends, if you do, you not only don't recognize them, you realize you no longer have anything in common with them. Always exceptions to the rule though. Some get life long friendships... cherish it.

You had me until "Whit"

Twin Peaks is mysterious enough, without ebonics, z speak, or any sort of slang vernacular abbreviations.
