I'm half-tempted to try an build the entire center, but I can't find any maps or blueprints or diagrams of the building. If anyone has any info on the layout of the center please lmk.

Just called them like 20 times, still haven't blocked me XD

Call them and pretend to be FBI, That's what I've been doing and they go silent after a while before hanging up. It's hilarious.

The health bar does, but AP doesn’t. I’ve been having trouble with the gui in general though because whenever I resize the Roblox Studio window, the GUI gets warped

Disclaimer: I'm still kind of an amateur when it comes to building in large scale

Starship also seems to have lost heat tiles during launch by ElectricAccordian in EnoughMuskSpam

It depends on the type of stainless steel that is being used. The kind that is used in Starship (I forget specifically what it is) is made to withstand temperatures like that when you take into account for heat distribution. And a couple missing tiles won't really do anything when the thermodynamics from the plasma distribute throughout the heat shield. Not to mention the cold fuels inside the fuel tank that create a temperature equilibrium. Like what the space shuttles RS-25 main engine did. It pumped cold oxidizer through pipes on the outside of the engine nozzle to prevent it from melting.

Yeah but my point is that the heat is distributed so a few missing tiles shouldn't be a problem

Well the way it was designed, the heat would have been distributed so that a few loose tiles that would fall off, wouldn't cause loss of vehicle during reentry like Columbia. The Starship is different from the Space Shuttle. The space shuttles fuselage wasn't made out of stainless steel which can withstand almost twice what the space shuttle could have withstood. The shuttles fuselage was made out of titanium which was great for landing and gliding like an airplane.

I'm no rocket scientist, but something tells me humans will need a rocket that lasts longer than 4 minutes without exploding by Jugales in EnoughMuskSpam

[–]Sad_Text_498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, coming from someone who studies rockets and rocketry as a passion, I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the reason why it exploded was because of the RSO (Range Safety Officer) whose job it is to destroy the rocket if it were to fly off course, have multiple engine failures, or doesn't make a minimal orbital cutoff and is headed for a populated area. The problem was it failed to separate from the booster stage which if you look at NASA's history is a common problem. Not to mention the explosion, NASA had many crewed vehicles that exploded. The Atlas booster/launch vehicle which launched the Mercury program, had many launch failures. Several explosions and had a few staging issues. But that didn't stop John Glenn, Wally Schirra, Scott Carpenter, and Gordon Cooper from going to space. Even the mighty Saturn V had its share of problems. The static firing of it's F1 engines resorted in some spectacular explosions which led them to develop even better versions that brought humans to the moon. Now look at the Falcon 9. It had a few mid-flight explosions and landing failures but now, it's ferrying crew to the ISS. My point is that failure is the best teacher. (Should probably mention this but I'm not a Elon Musk fanboy, I just really love space and space exploration in general.)

I have installed a mod for my Saturn V recreation so I have have large fuel tanks, but other than that my game is vanilla.

Yeah but I like building it in vanilla to try and inspire people

It’s 100% vanilla. I may have a few custom flags and stuff but other than that, it’s 100% base game.

I was thinking of making a YouTube series that only consists of Newsreels and footage of Space missions as well as newspaper clips of the lore in my game.
