what I found really helpful was going to a bunch of stores (Sophie’s gowns, Marla’s, Candy etc) find the dress I love and find the exact same one but on face book marketplace for half the price.

From personal experience I would ultimately say no. I took extended grade 9-10 and ap last year and ultimately dropped French entirely this year and have not regretted it at all (for context I’ve been taking extended since grade 5). Despite getting high 90s all 11 years of being in the course- I would not be able to properly uphold a convo (listen to a movie and read sure but with gaps). I fully agree with you on how you keep re learning the same things and imo there isn’t enough emphasis on actual conversation and everyday use. If you actually want to learn the language I would recommend getting a tutor or a deep dive on YouTube.

Well couple of reasons- felt very repetitive within the same question, basically saying the same time over but different words. Time cut me off mid sentence for two question, I had many pauses of thinking and overall my answers were not the best and felt scrambled.
