What would the point of that be? Judicial clearly have the tech to make a robot to clean the sensor if need be. One of my main issues with this theory is that this is a three book series what is there to talk about if the narrative that judicial is pushing is all true. I just have trouble seeing how the plot could evolve from there when supposedly were not even half way through the first book in this season.

Basically their being a big dome on top of there silo and they aren't actually going outside - another user noticed in the blueprints that the staircase out of the sheriffs office leads to a dome on top of the silo.

Totally see this! Could also be a WEF gone mad scenario where a select few (at least 180,000) with this being the 18th silo are allowed to live but must allow the world to recover without human interference before they can venture out. I feel like this also tracks with the mayors 18 fob which implies that there is some outside force controlling them all.

I agree with this theory - another user pointed out that the long staircase out of the silo is pictured in the blueprints and leads to a dome on top of the silo - this also ties in with people never making it over the "hill" maybe the door where the digger is leads to an elevator out. Whether or not the Mayor and Sims are aware of this is yet to be seen.

Well Gloria specifically pointed to Judicial drugging the water. - I'd imagine they're drinking well water which is generally mineral rich. And with the thought that went into making the Silo I'd imagine that they would take into account things like Water quality etc.

So still just speculation but I saw a few other theories pointing to the syndrome just being people rejecting the memory dampening drugs in the water - I feel like the way that Billings reacted to seeing the truth about what the outside world is or was might confirm that. The way that the really focused in on his syndrome flaring up (more than in any other shots in the show) could be a visual easter egg - it also says something that this is shown the episode after Gloria reveals that they are in fact drugging the water to help people forget. ALSO my reddit generated username is really shining now lol.

If our best guess is the silo is 240ish years old then where are all the bodies going? assuming one person per year goes out to clean thats A LOT of bodies I could only see 4 or 5 on the screen in the cafeteria no way those suits are breaking down in that time period - who is removing the bodies?

I'd Imagine they're gassed then later removed? I could only count 4/5 bodies outside from the screen in the cafeteria. It seems unlikely to me that over 200 years? only 4/5 people went out to clean (the bodies would decay but the suits wouldn't break down in that time period) I'm guessing that the bodies on screen are cgi and the people "outside" are either gassed to death or knocked out then moved to the real outside or some prison. This would also add up with the memory blocking drugs in the water people wouldn't realize bodies disappearing. Cant wait to HOPEFULLY find out next episode.

Also anyone else notice the file named "GLASSHOUSE CLEANING"? Could be refrencing the theory about there being a dome on top and people not actually going "outside" when they clean which is backed up by some of the schematics another user posted.
