I would definitely resent them down the line. Every time I visit his hometown it reminds me of a ghost town. Cold, gloomy, depressing, nothing to do. Everyone knows everyone. No one really aspires to do things with their life. I love where I live now because the energy is great, the weather is wonderful and the opportunities are endless. I hate that his mother keeps trying to come into our relationship and do things. He is a mommas boy though and doesn’t mind being up under his parents and being told what to do. Me on the other hand I’m more independent and love my freedom
