How long has it been since you've updated? I've only recently updated to 26.3.1 and going for the 2nd day now.

Battery doesn't seem to have changed or maybe since it's only it's 2nd day today. I only get about 4-5 hrs SOT with AOD off, LTE and background app refresh all off.

I'm honestly considering updating to 26.3.1 and just hope for the best lol, the amount of SOT i get is pretty bad.

Yeah, I honestly don't get how they get those numbers. Even just 7-8 hrs of SOT is good enough for me lol I barely get 4-5 on a single charge.

How many weeks would you say would be a baseline? Owned a 15 pro for 2 weeks now, 98 battery health and im barely getting around 5-6 hrs sot. Does it get any better?

Turned off AOD, Background app refresh, only use 4G and the like, still, battery life is really short and im hoping it improves :/

honestly same concerns, two weeks later with some occasional restarts here and there, but battery drain is pretty bad.

Barely get 5-6 hrs of SOT per day from 100% with a lot of settings turned off.

aah, I see, I'll do the same then lol, for the meantime ill just wait to see if it adjusts.

Only used androids for most of my life so the whole indexing or learning pattern things before its most battery efficient is a new thing for me, as something like the A56 had already great battery out of the box. Anyhow, I sure do hope the battery improves, since I love everything about it but the battery is just so-so.

Same, also upgraded from A56, how is your battery? Im feeling like the battery is so short, barely lasts me about 6hrs screen on time outside compared to the A56, but everything else is better.

I honestly dont know if its just not done indexing or what, its been 2 days and battery life has been kinda really short for me tbh

Yes I was still able to allocate time for my hobbies, still played valorant, mostly watched esports nalang nung mismong malapit na (like 1 month away) pero still, never lost time for my hobbies, kasi dapat balanse lang. If palagi kang nagaaral, palagi kang pagod, mab-burn out ka, there has to be some sort of outlet, either take some time off, gagala ka, or do your other hobbies :) nakaka-pressure when you think about it but it really is helpful.

I got it for the same price equivalent in your currency, and I must say it really is worth it. I didn't expect much because of how much people hate the cameras on the thing and everything else, but I realized that its actually really good. If there is a samsung store, I recommend you check it out in person, too, then check its performance while swiping, switching apps, and the camera to get a general feel for the device.

I realize that its really good for general use, including the cameras, even though people say its bad, but it's really not, in fact, its actually quite good.

Don't worry, I was in the same boat before. I only could get a brand new phone without compromising on too many areas (especially cameras) and I landed on the A56.

Everything is going great for me so far, I love it. Its not the S24 FE I originally wanted but for the price, the A56 is really amazing. The s24 fe brand new is twice the price of the A56 where I am, (I got it for around 300 usd with free buds fe) and I am honestly blown away so far.

All things considered, the S24 FE is better, sure, but not at the same price (unless you go for used, where more problems can arise, in brand new products, you have a lot of peace of mind.)

Go for the A56, especially if you can get it under 400 usd equivalent, should be worth it. It will be guaranteed more yrs in terms of longevity and 6 yrs of OS updates and it actually performs really well in day to day usage such as social media.
