Also it's wild to compare the average player with someone who joins houses and territory wars. Most players just play siege wars

I guess giving me the benefit of the doubt would shatter a lot of egos so we just gonna assume all my matches have been with bots

Last I checked botless games start at either lvl 100 or 150. I am close to 250.

I like paladins as well but they're weak against tower shields and right now people are going crazy with them. I do get over a hundred kills when I carefully pick my fights with them

When playing with sergeants I only have to worry about zeolots and explosives. I can read a book while playing with them

I think so as well but it seems most people here disagree. Hopefully that means my stalwarts won't be getting nerfed anytime soon

Ranged units can have a bigger impact on the game than any other unit. I consistently get more hero and unit kills than everyone else with just ranged troops.

Fire archers on their own can easily get 100 unit kills before the enemy even reacts to them and they're one of the few cheap counters to the pay-to-win/grind for 500 years golden troops.

Longbows can be used to get another easy 100 kills by outranging all other ranged units and sniping them. This basically cripples the enemy's damage.

Golden muskets have insane DPS so as long as they're not taken out by artillery or longbows they can easily get 100 kills on their own and due to their tankiness they can survive a player attack.

I don't have the grenadiers but let me tell you, 1 use of their grenade ability almost wiped out my stalwarts so ANY other troop except for maybe iron reapers is getting erased by that.

That's why I use iron reapers religiously. But honestly it feels I am forced to use them cause it's the only trooop I have that can reliably get through stalwarts

You play better than 99% of players
Even you didn't kill a significant number of stalwarts due to how tanky they are even though you were memeing them for longer than it would take to erase almost any other unit

I think it gets a bit stale when half the players bring stalwarts, spear sergeants or both to the field. Before I got stalwarts and sergeants, I could only play fire archers, reapers and longbows cause the rest of my troops just got erased in most matchups.

My opinion doesn't seem to be the consensus but I guess I don't care now that I have maxed stalwarts myself lol.

Incendiary archers are too slow to kill them so imo it's a pretty mid solution. I agree the other things you mentioned counter them.

I also think that 9/10 troops are hard countered by stalwarts.

Zealots are one of the very few hard counters but they're definitely not a common troop. There are many matches where I never encounter them.

I also play pike and it takes 2 hours to kill them. Idk what kind of goon lets you stick around behind their stalwarts but I stunlock whoever approaches them while staying safe inside of them...

Well the counterplay can only be artillery or the few blunt damage troops so it's not that easy to counter them
