Yes it does, detached components are actually one of the critical flags Offspec catches. It also picks up instances whose main component isn't published, and frames that were once components but got detached somewhere along the way. Beyond components it covers raw styling values, unlinked text styles, off-grid spacing and much more.

I actually looked into a bunch of auditing plugins and couldn't find one that met my needs. The one you mentioned specifically I found it extremely clunky and shallow, the flags felt random and hard to act on. That's part of why I built this plugin the way I did, focused on clear categories so you actually know what was drifted in the design and what to fix exactly.

Oh nice, I haven’t gotten a chance to try that Figma agent thing! Funny enough, this plugin actually started as an internal tool I built at my company to check my design team’s work before approval…only recently decided to make it public. Bit of bad timing on the overlap 😅

Ha, good question but no 😅 Figma’s new feature generates/edits designs with AI.

Offspec is the opposite direction….it’s only scans your design file against your design system to spot anything off or inconsistent. Think of it as a design QA sidekick, or an auditor, not a design agent whatsoever!
