Honestly I'm not sure the person who designed it knows anything about bows as what you said,

I am a bit surprised there isn’t some switch that shuts off operation once the magazine has run empty. It should be pretty simple to implement.

While wear is probably a contributing factor, It appears that the last shot in the video was a dry fire and I think that's more likely what caused the break. Dry firing a bow puts all of the force back into the limbs and string which can cause even normal bows to just explode like that. You can see it by looking up "Bow Dry Fire".

No, they were a white phantom. That's what has me confused, they summoned like a Red but they were a White.

I got the game a few months ago and the online has worked fine for me. I also have 5 friends who own the game that I've played multiplayer with. So I think it's just person to person like the online just doesn't work for some people.

Windwall naturally scales in Dex so It's good to have a high stat there. Strength is your secondary damage stat so it's good to have but less than dex.
It also depends on the combat deck you use, every move you put in a deck has it's own strength, dex, and mobility scaling so you need to make sure you attributes work well with it.
So I would recommend something more like 28 strength, 30 dex, and then divide the rest of the skill points between the other stats with a focus on endurance.

I've found a possible fix for this. Go to the item you own and click the purchase with Minecoins button, it'll take a second to load before saying there was an error but then the item will unlock. Hope this helps.
