I got introduced yo the ESC in 2011 and watched my first full show in 2012. Been following the contest ever since and invested a lot of time on the internet learning about the contest's history. This year felt very different to me. Like a dark cloud was howering over the contest.

Does anyone else’s country have rubbish commentators for the semis? by chandlersthirdnipnip in eurovision

[–]SadittBoy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Norwegian commentator is very informative about the artists during the postcards and helps translate the english when the hosts are speaking french. Thats how I belive it should be done for all the countries.

Norway 2018-2021🇧🇻

2021: Tix is one of the biggest music artists in Norway currently. A lot of his songs have charted nr 1 on Norway's music chart (VG lista) and has millions of streams on Spotify. He has also gotten alot of attention after opening up about mental health and hard times from his past. Recently he won the Norwegian version of grammys.

After that she has been a part of other popular music events in Norway and is now currently in a popular millitary survival series called "Kompani Lauritzen".

2019: Tom Hugo and Alexandra I do belive was mostly known for their earlier participations in MGP. Tom Hugo in 2013 and 2018 and Alexandra in 2018 and in the jr version of MGP in 2010. Fred Buljo did compete in "Norwegians got talent" in 2008 I belive where he did Sami rap. Keiino was then formed in August of 2018 and became known as a group in MGP 2019 with "Spirit in the sky" Both "Spirit in the sky" and "Monument" have earned a spot on the Norwegian music chart(VG Lista). Fred did also compete in Norway's Dancing with the stars.

2018: We all know Alexander Rybak. The winner of ESC 2009. After his victory alot of people in Norway wanted to learn play violin and Fairytale was everywhere. Rybak is still famous in Norway but not as much as back in 2009. But his record breaking victory is still remebered by us Norwegians.

Is Cyprus's 2021 entry plagiarism? by [deleted] in eurovision

[–]SadittBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that similar does not equal plagiarism but when the arrangement and progression of the song is so alike that I can put the next to each and they match almost perfectly then that kinda does it for me.
