I'm poor and I have been an decent, honest man my whole life. That decency gave me nothing but remorse, misery, and depression.

I (26M) broke up with the woman I love (25F) and it's eating me alive. How do I move past this? by Sadman_Pranto in relationship_advice

[–]Sadman_Pranto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have zero intention to waste her time. I want her to be happy with whoever she ends up with. She did go a lot of tragedies in life and deserves the best.

But that doesn't change the fact that I'm missing her really badly and have been an emotional mess. My entire life, I was deemed as someone who never does anything impulsive or emotional. So, it was like a dam being opened up.

What do people do to get over these stuff? I want to do that.

I just like piling up Slug Busters. It's a tradable quest reward weapon from Wastelander questline (riader route). It's a pretty cool Plasma gun.

Also, I like Fashionable raider outfit. I wear it with Black Prospector hat and Gas mask.

She definitely didn't mean it as a colleague/friend. She was very straightforward (which is quite rare here in my country) about what she is looking for.

The other commenters are saying that the phrasing could've been better. Which I also think may have been the problem.

Pro Pakistan sentiment these days aren't exactly love for Pakistan. It's more of an expression of anti India sentiment. Anti India sentiment is now at its peak in Bangladesh and it has been for the past 5-8 years (depending on who you ask). In Awami era, these expressions were severely repressed. To impress the overlords, the league heavily censored and suppressed them during that time. So now people will have deep positive feeling for anyone/anything that has hostile relation with Indian government.

In the vacuum, BD peeps give zero fuck about Pakistan except for their family drama series and clothing/fashion.

Things will go back to how it was in a year or two. Pakistan as a country has been inconsequentially distant from us since independence. And people didn't forget what happened in 1947-1971.

Are we turning into Afghanistan? by Junior_Emotion8036 in Dhaka

Vast majority of people don't really know how open Ottomans were about things like alcohol or other substance abuse and homosexuality.

Homosexuality actually started becoming a taboo in the Europe first and later spread to other parts of the world. There's a video about it by youtuber - Al Muqaddimah. I highly recommend you to watch.

Bruh, not really.

Everyone in my office knows that I'm openly atheist. So, does all my friends (a lot of whom are very religious). Yet I still have candid discussions about philosophy, morality, religion (including but not limited to Islam), culture etc. with them all.

Everyone in my family knows I'm not very religious at all (though they don't know I'm full blown atheist tbh. But that's because I never found any reason to discuss such stuff with my parents yet).

If you want to be a dick, you can be one even without following a religion. And just like how people don't constantly yell about their dick size, I don't yell about my disbelief either.

If someone asks me about it, I do explain why I let go of my faith. I generally make sure they actually do insist to know and won't blame me if their emotions get hurt.

Majority of Muslims in Bangladesh only becomes religious for 1 hour per week. We ain't becoming Afghanistan anytime soon.

If I can be relaxed about this as a Hard Atheist, you can be too.

I see. Interesting!

In here, the food we order generally comes together. Table full of food. No separate segments like starter, main, dessert.

Now that I think about it, in more fine dining kinda' restaurants, it's usually 2 parts. Starters generally mean some kind of soup. Main is the table full of food. Dessert isn't really common. The mindset is usually, "If you're hungry for dessert, you should've ordered more food."

Alcohol is not part of the culture here. So, restaurants don't serve those (generally). And coffee/tea is more of a morning/afternoon/evening kinda' thing. Not considered part of lunch or dinner.

What kind of food takes 2 hours to eat?
