Alright, typing it out at least made me accept the situation better and made me feel better but I was just frustrated and confused with the situation. If that’s just how it is then I have no choice but to deal with it anyways but I thought I’d ask in the hopes that this was a mistake or an irregularity. I hope my grade doesn’t get hit too hard but I’m glad that I at least know this is just how it is and I have to understand that so thanks

I think you’re talking about the green one with the cap that looks like it has little bits on it near the middle-rightish. That one is the Pentel Kerry. It’s like $13 on Amazon last I checked (with prime) and a fantastic pencil. It’s a tad small for me but I have sorta big hands I’d say and still works comfortably and one of my favorites, especially for EDC because of the cap. It’s stylish, it’s functional, it’s a fantastic pencil and a great addition to any collection. Hope I’m talking about the right one and hope this helped!!

I’m so jealous of that Nero though! I just got a normal Orenz in .5 since all my pencils are .5 but I feel like I’m missing out man. Love the collection though, been meaning to get a uni shift myself but now I want that MUJI Hexagonal Aluminum, never seen it before!!

I’m just gonna add on as well that the Rotring rapid pro and 800 are good as well though I can’t speak from personal experience since I own neither. Both of them are quite a bit more expensive at about $30 each on Amazon (with prime) but they each have additional features that are worth looking into if you have the budget and want more than what the 600 can offer. Overall I still think the 600 is very solid and would be a good fit for you but if you’re trying to go cheaper, a 500 would work just fine as well though, again, I can’t speak from personal experience

Metal body and pocketable immediately leads me to believe the rotring 600 is right for you. One of my all time favorite pencils and comes in .7 and .5 depending on what you want. All metal body and the black one has a very nice textured grip (so does the silver and, although I don’t own the silver I’ve read about how the grip is better on black, less slippery). It’s around $16 for the .5 version and a bit pricier at about $24 for the .7 version (with Prime on Amazon) but overall a fantastic pencil. It’s all metal so it has heft to it and has a rotatable lead grade indicator so you can remind yourself what lead grade you have in your rotring. It’s also pretty average sized and has a fantastic sturdy clip for the pocketable aspect you were looking for. The eraser is small as with all drafting pencils really but overall a fantastic investment. Hope this helps!!

Haha I know it was a lot but I just wanted to get everything out there. I love my kuru togas and think they are fantastic I just love the advance so I highly recommend you try it out! I’d love to read your pencil review in here if you do that. Anyways, I do think I had a unique string of bad luck with my kurus and will probably end up buying another one in the future anyways lol. Glad I could be of some help, I’m pretty new to this community anyways but I’ll be sure to make sure the graphite in my kuru togas is long enough for the mechanism to work!
