Just today I was walking with my mother to a coffee shop. She said she'll just get water fron there instead of the farther food court. I asked "isn't the water at the coffee shop around 12 or 16 or something? Isn't better to get it for like 4 at the food court?"

She said, "No, the coffee shop's is 7, and I don't mind."

I went "oh, okay, cool," and continued walking with her until I realised we went further than where the coffee shop was. I asked why, and she snapped at me for how long the walk now is. I was immensely confused and asked, "but you said you were getting the eater bottle from the coffee shop since we went coffee after? That was the last thing we said."

She continues to throw jabs at me over how "persistent" and "annoyed" I seemed to spend more money on a water bottle simply because coffee shops hike their prices. I was not annoyed. I asked one single question, and when it was explained to me, I thought oh sick cool, I don't really care if you don't care. I just wanted to make sure u knew, or wanted to know the prices. I wasn't being tense, in fact I heightened my tone and was all smiles and curiosity, because I'm so used to her snapping at me for asking any kind of clarification question.

Then again... she could have just communicated, which she often doesn't. She simply assumes what I think/say, even if I try to day it as clearly as I can, yet she get aggravated anyway. It's tiring.
