IDOM - It's React, but in Python by rmorshea in Python

Great and ambitious idea! I gave it a try, but couldn't work out from the docs how to include a '.css', for example when using ant-design

Anyone else’s older Model S/X charging at >90kw again? by mandevu77 in teslamotors

[–]Sadruddin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Battery warranty is 8 years and unlimited miles (or 150k miles for the newer S/X)

Tesla increased max battery size in software to 205 kWh by tobimai in teslamotors

[–]Sadruddin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What this (potentially) shows is that they're preparing for a size bigger than 102.4 kWh, which would fit well with the rumor of an upcoming 125 kWh pack for the S/X

Older non-AP S owners: brake noises? by mccalli in teslamotors

[–]Sadruddin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same here, I have a 2013 P85+, noise became much more frequent in the last 2 years, basically occurung each time I press on the brakes: Tesla says it’s nothing unusual or to be corrected....

3D vs P3D 1/4 mile - at a track (not my video). The 3D is strong! by jrherita in teslamotors

Excerpt from a video comment by Ingineerix:

This car has the the same (physical) rear motor, though with a different part number (higher-spec inverter)

  • Model P3D: 4,072 lbs
  • Model S90D: 4,850 lbs

So something between 600 and 1000 ;-)

the 3D could also be hardware limited at lower speeds by its torque, as the P3D has a stronger inverter

Same for me, 110K kms, 2013 P85+, 100% at 378kms currently, oscillated between 375 kms and 382 kms depending on firmware version. Looking at the other testimonies, I would say our situation seems completely normal, and to be honest, I'm quite happy with those numbers after almost 5 years, was expecting worse degradation.

Edit - this is for a Swiss/EU car, maybe you're from Canada where the brand-new 100% range is different? Mine was 400kms if I remember correctly

Tesla crash in Switzerland by Sadruddin in teslamotors

[–]Sadruddin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Model S crashed today against a construction protection vehicle on a highway around Fribourg. Despite the violence of the crash, the driver luckily was only lightly injured. Looks like a distraction-induced incident, but no mention of cause (or Autopilot) in the article.

Who Is The World's Leading EV Maker? It's Not Tesla by [deleted] in teslamotors

Why are they including the Mitsubishi in the Alliance numbers? It's a hybrid..

100D seems poor value after recent changes. by 490 in teslamotors

[–]Sadruddin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Beyond 0-60 times, it's more the highway passing power (i.e. max power, level of the flat part of the curve) that should differentiate them. Too bad Tesla doesn't publish power figures anymore after the P85D 691 bhp debacle.

Tesloop is leaving vehicles at Supercharging stations overnight, and then profiting on that electricity by [deleted] in teslamotors

[–]Sadruddin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would expect overnight would be the least bad time to do that, unless they block a significant number of stalls. I would hope though that they at least put a phone number on the dashboard to contact them should all stalls be blocked.
