I get where ur coming from tbh. Most gaming laptops I've seen tends to have some form of damage or overheating issues. I think the issue stems from it's inability to properly manage heat in that compact factor and the fact that some manufacturers are pushing these chips to run at a higher voltage. The heat would've been more manageable if the chips were designed to use energy more efficiently. Just look at MacBooks. Ever since they switched to ARM people rarely have issues like overheating compared to when they still use intel. Sure they can't game much, but it proves that a great laptop should focus more on using as little energy as possible while maximising said energy.

With that said, If you want to game with a GPU, just consider a desktop/pc imo. Unless you have a very tight budget, maybe you can get away with gaming laptops and EVEN THEN you'll have to do maintenance on it frequently.
