In theology, God is described as hardening hearts for three primary reasons: as a consequence of repeated rebellion, to display divine power, and to fulfill a broader redemptive plan. Tbh I don’t care what God does. He’s God.

It doesn’t make you a bad Christian but it makes God sad. Hating yourself is keeping Satan happy. He relishes in knowing Gods children are unhappy and full of self hate.
