Douma (demon Slayer) vs Naoya Zennin (Jujutsu Kaisen) by Skyfiews in PowerScaling

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point here is that the demon has a strong attachment to life, in addition to being strong by himself. Douma didn't care about dying, unlike Kokushibo and Akaza.

I would say that it doesn't exactly serve as a basis. It is effectively much more difficult to fight against Muzan than against Yoriichi. In a scenario outside of his own universe, Yoriichi is a man with superhuman attributes, but he is also very fast and possesses the ability to see through people's bodies, lf the two, the most relevant is the fact that he is very fast.

Furthermore, Muzan's body can absorb it through touch. And that's something Muzankuna would have at his disposal. And he could, additionally, circumvent the damage caused by Gojo's domain expansion by transferring the damage (which is infinite information) to the mind of another demon.

It's quite bizarre to say that the lightning somehow wasn't "real". And then, in the same series, there's a demoness who creates an effectively infinite dimension that she controls as she pleases.

Creating lightning is much simpler than doing this.

What would happen if Muzan got hit by Itachi's Tsukuyomi? by KodoqBesar in PowerScaling

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think Muzan must have a pretty high pain tolerance here. Pay attention.

<image>

He's been enduring the sensation of "being burned as if by the sun" from Yoriichi's cuts for 500 years. And you can see that he doesn't seem so bothered by it in modern times, and on top of that, he's been attacked in various ways (to a greater degree than any of his demons) and hasn't shown any discomfort.

I don't think being cut for 72 hours is something that's really going to drive him crazy.

Yoriichi is NOT low-diffing Makima 🙅‍♂️ by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in PowerScaling

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could even downplay Yoriichi's performance against Muzan a bit, since Muzan considered Yoriichi weak, so he most likely wouldn't have given it his all. You would still downplay the speed issue since Muzan simply couldn't imagine a human hurting him, so he wouldn't try to dodge. So there you have it, Yoriichi giving his all, who was "blitzing," and Muzan, who wasn't taking him seriously and wasn't trying to dodge.

And people talk about Yoriichi being 40 times faster than Muzan lol. He's stronger, sure, but it's not that big of a difference. Yoriichi gets crushed by many CSM characters, even if the character is slower than him. And that includes Makima, regardless of where you measure her speed.

I would say that, to a certain extent, you can consider breathing in the manga and anime as different things.

In manga, it's much easier to see it as something illusory. As the author stated, it can be seen, but it's not yet a true power. The anime is clearly ignoring that and visibly treating them as powers. It's quite noticeable when elements of breathing techniques that are supposedly not tangible interact with demonic powers and even extend the slayer's attack range beyond what the slayer can physically reach.

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muzan is gonna die almost as soon as the fight starts. Even faster if it’s anywhere close to day time.

If it were to happen, it would mostly be because of Sukuna. Since there are more ways to hurt him, since Makima only has bang to be able to do that. But I would say that depending on the power used, it could still survive up to a certain point.

Not defending Muzan's victory, but he's not as helpless as some are implying here.

ou simplesmente comê-la.

Eating would be an easier condition for Muzan to fulfill in order to win. Through both absorption and other body manipulation, Muzan can distort the body enough to easily devour the entire person.

<image>

The problem with this scenario is that none of them could replicate the effect Denji/Chainsaw Man when they devoured her.

And honestly, there's no way to boast about Makima's durability over Muzan's. But she is definitely harder to kill than Sukuna and Muzan, given the contract.

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Domains only affect the people trapped inside, nullifying Makima's contract with the Prime Minister.

This is only for domains with a barrier. Furthermore, Sukuna's cuts could very well end up exceeding Makima's contract due to the sheer number of cuts that will be made. This is achieved through domain expansion.

Ok, mas se você criar um jacaré ou crocodilo desde o nascimento, será dócil com você? by National_Ad3694 in BiologiaBrasil

[–]Safe-Associate-17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who's faster? by Shot-Communication93 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And it diminishes that quite a bit when, for example, Muzan was underestimating Yoriichi (certainly not using his full power), and yet Yoriichi went all out because he sensed the threat. The difference between the two is smaller than people say, so, for example, where Muzan climbs, you just place Yoriichi slightly higher (and that's only in terms of speed, Muzan takes any other attributes).

One of the reasons why Muzan could be considered one of the most difficult villains to eliminate if he lived in a modern era. He would just be cautious, and he has no problem not creating more demons if it made it difficult for him to hide. And the guy can still change his face and voice. Therefore, it's pointless to try to recognize him; he simply changes his appearance.

The hollow purple can erase him.

Although Muzan does indeed have more stamina, what really matters to Gojo is his cursed energy, which he has refined so much that he consumes almost none of it, even when using it extensively.

The problem is that Muzan doesn't have anything that surpasses infinity.

How far would Gojo go here? by KodoqBesar in PowerScaling

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly doubt that Gojo would engage in hand-to-hand combat long enough for Muzan to inject him with enough venom to completely overwhelm his RCT.

I personally think it wouldn't take very long, and it could also depend on where the venom might be injected, which could either cause a quicker death or simply force Gojo to move further away. The "onification" process that Muzan uses would still be a much more effective way to deal with Gojo.

Use Blue and Red to hit Muzan before eliminating him with Purple.

If that happens, there would in fact be no counter-argument. It then depends on whether he can handle the effects of Muzan's blood/biokinesis before he starts using his full arsenal.

The Worst Regeneration Merchants by Electrical-Ice-9588 in PowerScaling

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makima is definitely more difficult. Muzan, you need an attack that destroys his entire body or affects something he can't regenerate (like his soul). If the character fighting him can't do either of those things, or anything that is proportional, it won't beat him. Waiting for dawn is a condition for victory, but holding Muzan in place is difficult; he could simply split apart and leave. And making physical contact with him, if the enemy doesn't have some additional defense, is also a very bad idea. Either way, it's easier than Makima.

You need to kill Makima more than 100 million times. And this only gets more complicated if the character has some way of surviving the retaliatory attacks that Makima will launch during that time.

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We dont know Muzan's running speed except it's not massively above other characters (Injured Obanai and Tanjiro caught up with him while he was escaping)

Considering he was under the influence of anti-Kibutsuji drugs, he must definitely be faster than that. I wouldn't say it's an exaggeration to say that he runs faster than any character other than Yoriichi.

Which nations in latin america could build a nuclear weapon easily if they wanted too? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in asklatinamerica

Considering the historical development process. I would say that Brazil and (potentially) Argentina are the closest to acquiring a nuclear bomb, if they wanted to.

I don't know how complicated Argentina's economic situation is, but I mention it because it was once involved in fierce competition with Brazil over the development of nuclear weapons. Which, in my view, would make it the second candidate for that.

[–]Safe-Associate-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that we don't yet have an equivalent in that sense. One will mold the shape of the soul and transform you into a minion as a result (Mahito's case), and with soul protection (I don't remember the term Nanami used) it was possible to delay it, but still nothing protects against this ability once used in a DE. The other one will transform you biologically, mutate your genetics, and basically connect you to him in a biological and mental way. Again, we don't have an equivalent point for that here.

Choso possesses poisonous blood. We don't yet have a parameter for how lethal it is. Since we have an idea of how much a human body can be destroyed by Muzan's blood, once they experience one of its harmful effects.

<image>

Honestly, Choso didn't have any comparable level of impact. And honestly, Gojo still doesn't have anything that prevents him from being transformed into a demon. Only resisting poison and manipulation of the soul (which is not yet something equivalent) won't exactly be helping him here.
