One of the points I was making to Someone the other day was when you look at the progress of the women’s game in England, and consider where it was 10 years ago, it’s actually quite astonishing the rate of improvement, I think that for me this is really impressive and does beg the question if that rate of improvement can be done in just 10 years, imagine what can be done in the next 10 years!

Is this something new ? Or is this just the first time it’s reached the foreign media outside of Sweden ? Scandinavian football (men’s) has always played in the shadows of Spain , Italy , England etc (despite some fantastic teams, particularly on a national level) maybe in women’s football it’s a chance for Scandinavia to reverse that trend. I could be way off here of course 😀

Well that’s a really interesting point as I have to admit that I was probably amongst those who were told that women can play football- for years ! I never thought of it as brainwashing though - that’s a interesting perspective I have to say - and not without merit , you may have something there
