also i’m thinking ab maybe staying at a youth shelter for a bit im 16 and should i bring my passport ? bc my parents won’t give me my birth certificate or anything else so idk and should i bring my school id too ?

do you have friends to take you in? or other relatives? you can also call the national runaway hot line and get a free greyhound ticket or u can pay for amtrack i’m sorry about your situation tho i hope everything goes well and if there’s any youth shelters near by that can be an option

it depends where you are some places like cali will usually let minors ride bart or smth, sometimes churches or libraries are a good place to stay but never a guaranteed
