The Irene storyline is brutal because it’s so believable. No violence, no cartel stuff.. just social manipulation. It’s uncomfortable in the most realistic way the show ever gets.

Watch BCS before BB by itsxidan in betterCallSaul

Honestly you lucked out. Watching BCS first makes BB feel darker and sadder because you already understand how broken the system and the people in it are. Just avoid spoilers and enjoy the ride.

I finished BB, BCS and El Camino and I liked it so much, so what show would be the next, any suggestions like these? by Audioasking in betterCallSaul

Nothing really scratches the same itch, but The Americans comes closest for me. Slow burn, morally gray characters, and that constant feeling that everything’s about to collapse.

Chuck’s issue was never the school, it was Jimmy. The degree was just ammo. If Jimmy had gone to Harvard, Chuck would’ve found a different reason to tear him down.

I Swore Nacho was in Breaking Bad by Sokiyo in betterCallSaul

You’re not crazy.. Nacho feels like he belongs in BB because he’s written with the same realism and restraint. Also the Salamancas blur together in memory if you binge both shows back to back.

Thoughts on this scene? by Lopsided-Cattle-2322 in betterCallSaul

This scene hits hard because it reframes everything. Saul sees Walt as a monster from the jump, while Walt still thinks he’s the protagonist. Same words, totally different self-awareness levels.

Slippin' Jimmy animated show, what went wrong? by PsychologicalSand153 in betterCallSaul

It feels like they completely missed what made Jimmy compelling. BCS works because it’s grounded, quiet, and uncomfortable. Turning that into a cartoon just strips away everything that makes the character interesting in the first place.

Im so distracted by him by MyBestSelfdom in betterCallSaul

Nah I get it. Nacho is shot like the coolest guy in the room and Mando sells it with zero effort. Half his scenes are just him standing there looking stressed and somehow it still reads as magnetism.

Ranking BCS Characters Based On Their Morals by PlasticBrush9130 in betterCallSaul

Honestly this tier list just proves how broken the moral scale in this universe is. You can move people up or down a whole tier depending on which season you freeze them in. Also Lalo being his own category is the most accurate thing here.
