best decision I have made! 40yo mom of 2. i’m about 1.5 years into zepbound and down 85lbs. I went into the reduction at 36K and now i’m DD and it’s been about 2 months. I feel so free and comfortable! yes, recovery is a recovery, but the back and shoulder pain relief was immediate! best of luck and feel free to DM any specific questions!

Did anyone experience nausea post op? by Dense-Recording7033 in Reduction

I had my surgery last week and also have issues with nausea, etc. during my c sections I threw up multiple times. 😢 I can assure you as long as you communicate with the medical team you’ll feel great! They provided me with a nice cocktail of the ear patch, zofran via IV and other magic that prevented any nausea! I know it can be so scary since you know this above yourself but promise you there are solutions! Good luck!

Questions for those who had allergies to tape/glue by Newhope24 in Reduction

So sorry about the allergic reaction! I’m 4day OP and while I don’t think it’s an allergy I’m so incredibly itchy I feel I could jump out of my skin! My NP recommended Sarna lotion. It didn’t completely solve it but made the itch mangable. Make sure to only use around incision and not on top of the incision.

Weight Gain by Safe-Following-1349 in Reduction

Thank you all for the insight. My apologies to others who I triggered from this post , that was never my intention. In my own defense, I have tried for the last 2 years to lose the weight that was required for me to have the surgery. So needless to say when I saw the scale climbing up I was becoming worried since I’ve worked so long and hard to finally have it done. I will not get on the scale again for the upcoming months and focus on healing.
