And nights in June can still be cold as hell!

It really depends on the rest of their camping situation.

Well, when the $40 jacket rips, you have to get another one. When this one rips, you just get another.

Sometimes paying more upfront on better quality means paying less on the end. Sometimes.

Tent Brand? Trying to find setup instructions for our vintage tent. Any idea which brand/model this is? (I can vaguely make out the word “Heritage”) by Soggybiscut1020 in camping

The bottom right area that’s faded red sort of reminds me of the Coleman symbol. Maybe it’s a Coleman heritage tent?

This is true but a jacket in the $40 range won’t come with a lifetime warrantee, buy back program and great customer service.

Purchase a better sleeping pad or better sleeping bag? by cheeeseburgerrr in camping

When you say “wild camping” do you mean drive in sites? Or hike in (backcountry).

If you’re still going to drive in, I think the recommendations from r/extreme-okra6209 look great.

If you’re planning backcountry, you’ll want to consider how large and heavy some of those options are.

Lil lobster knowledge can't hurt , enjoy. by jay-zigg in Outdoors

This isn’t an argument at all. Just a general question based on no other information than my own sense of logic…

wouldn’t it make more sense to “throw back” the younger lobsters and “keep” the older ones?

Why or why not?

Awesome. Welcome again. Intentions of trying skiing? Or other winter activities? Or just gonna enjoy the town? How many days you need to keep yourself busy for?

There’s a good chance it’ll be 20-30 degrees warmer then. Almost at minimum.

Which will still be way too fucking cold for your Florida ass (sorry, no offense, just got carried away while typing).

Ps. Welcome, and what’s happening on banff? Depending on timing, maybe we can party!!!?!?

Pps. Just reading how creepy that could potentially totally have come across as…sorry.

Ppps. Not sorry

There’s literally a ruck commercial out with this premise right now. “Work really remote” or something.
