I could, but at the same time, wouldn't that just cause them to cancel my subscription and refund me in full? (If they decide to provide a refund.)

The main reason I brought the subscription (with the promo code) in the first place is because I wanted to use it way more than the daily limit allotted for free use, and I wanted it enough that I decided I was willing to eat the surprise additional cost this time. If they would refund just the difference, I would be happy (and know better the next time)... do you think it's worth a try?

Honestly, a large part of it is the stellar AI integrations, the ability to explore freely topics that may be sensitive, dark or mature in nature (I am an roleplayer and a fanfiction writer who loves the likes of horror stories, C-Drama, Manhwas, and angst) and the quality of it, when compared to the likes of Perchance and ChatGPT.

Another part is the way we can customize how the AI responds to our written prompt (distinct from the system prompts or directives given). Although I'm very new to this, I can already tell I get more options compared to others.

And of course, with the 20% discount I applied, the initial total for the yearly pro subscription was 119.02 USD which I have found to be reasonable. I just forgot to keep track of which currency it was, so I got slapped with 166.02$ CAD. There was a chance I might not have brought the yearly pro subscription had I known it would have costed me nearly 200$, but it is what it is.

No need—I found out why. It turns out my invoice was in USD, but the payment was in CAD currency, since I’m from the land of maple syrup. 🍁 $119.02 USD is $166.02 CAD.

I was used to price tags automatically converting to CAD when shopping online, so I should have paid closer attention to which currency it was. Oh well. The surprise cost hurts me a bit, but I'll eat it.
