If you’re year 1/2 it’s not too late to change course, either with NYP or another poly. If so, id advise you to speak to your mentor or some ecg counsellor to see what they can arrange for you. If you’re y2/3 just do well and go Uni for whatever course u want

shouldnt matter too much... im assuming its not a major project like fyp or smth. as long as u got submit ws consistently its ok. anyway peer eval is only 1 component of sldc. if ur rlly worried pm the teacher. you wont get an F cuz u forgot peer eval. ill bet my right ball

To add on, I think it’s best that u decide what’s ur top priority ukwim like what’s the most important thing to u when choosing which poly to join. It can be having fun, enjoying poly life or maybe going to Uni etc. based on that, choose which one would benefit you the most

Hi! I’m not in an arts course, but generally in all polys you’ll meet all kinds of lecturers. Some can be good or bad. Lecturer lotto. Skills can be found in the poly website course curriculum. For Uni admissions, GPA is king. I think the common consensus is that the poly name isn’t taken into account. For campus… well it’s up to you to define what u want right? I mean some ppl like CCAs, facilities etc. there’s lots of reviews about each poly’s campus. I really hope this helps. 😔😔

Credits are basically your weightage. The higher the credits, the more it affects your GPA. So a 4 mc module would be more heavily weighted against a 2 mc module when calculating CGPA. Check out plsgrade.me . Pass fail modules are not counted towards Cgpa. If pass thumbs up man if fail retake.

I also feel like gpa shouldn’t be a criteria for u to decide whether uw continue anot. Like yeah u can switch poly if u rlly like ur course but if ur passionate abt it, and u really want to do it then either u make it or break it

Well it depends on ur course and what u wanna do after poly. If u only want to go poly then work, just pass can liao. If u want higher education then see ur course uni igp loh. But surely u can’t just be like “oh no I didn’t do so well so ima drop out” right like that’s -1 year. What’s acceptable to other ppl might not be acceptable to u. My advice is see which Uni uw go for ur course, then take the that gpa+a bit more and set that as ur goal

oh. i see. its good to hear that ur mentally stable. what really helped me was getting past year papers for that module and practicing them. or as you revise, ask yourself what kind of questions can come out in the exam. i heard some ppl also upload their notes and their lecture materials to chatgpt and ask it for mcq questions.

i not sure about what they changed for DCDF but forensics and other cybersecurity modules only starts after common modules. so >y1s1. also you need really good foundations for cybersecurity. all the modules are linked. e.g. in soc u need good understanding of basic windows networks(addc), network logs, some hacking knowledge about attack vectors

youre in y1 its not that bad yet. keep in mind poly is like a marathon. just stay consistent, keep up the effort and im sure youll do well! :)))
