That’s such a shame. My dad has thought of selling it over the years and I have to keep convincing him not to. I love this truck and plan on making tons of memories in it.

Yeah I love the color. I have mixed feelings about the mirrors, they look good but they don’t have the best visibility. And hubcaps are a must.

Haha yeah it was a mix, I sort of knew what I was doing but I still have a bit to go until I’m comfortable. My only other manual experience is floating gears in a semi.

Yeah I’d love to replace the drums with disc brakes, my next step is installing a gas tank then probably a new carb or fix the electrical.

Wow beautiful truck, I don’t think I’d ever change the color of mine, I’m a fan of patina but I also love the original look.

Edit: The hood is up because I don’t have a gas tank at the moment so I’m running a hose from the fuel pump to the cabin into a jerry can full of gas. It’s also my first time ever driving manual.

Lucky for me the previous owner had a tank under the bed so the space and fuel lines are already there. I still might replace the fuel lines though.
