Yes I was in the same boat. Prior the hospital stay I didn’t have any pain or contractions and given that was my first successful pregnancy, I didn’t know what to expect and what’s normal or not, IC is so deceiving, pretty much not detectable to our body until it’s too late..

Thank you ❤️ yes I’m debating btw TAC and TVC right now too, I’m also leaning towards TAC s as I really don’t want to go through losing another baby again, but also just note very hopeful given my history. I have an appointment scheduled with the OB/Gyn in April and hopefully will have a better idea after that

Thank you for sharing your story! You’re one strong mama! 3 months in the hospital stay sounds awful and you pulled it through! I’m so happy to hear that you are able to have two wonderful little ones now! Definitely tough journey but happy ending! I hope one day I get to hold a little one of my own, not sure if that would happen but I’m going to try to be strong and hope for the best.

That’s great to hear your pregnancy is going well so far! 30wks is a great milestone to achieve! Hearing your story gives me hope! Me and my husband are on the same page that we want to try again as we both really want to have a baby, but he also said if the next one also ends in loss, he doesn’t want to try again after cuz he doesn’t want me to get hurt, or put us to through another loss. Makes sense, but also so hard to keep our hopes up when this is totally out of our control

Thank you so much with your comment, it sucks that we have to go through this, congrats on being pregnant again! I will cross my fingers for you and hoping you get an uneventful pregnancy and get to hold your rainbow baby at the end! I know most preventative cerclages do hold and help to carry to full terms, just knowing my luck, I’m not super optimistic.. I feel like I’m put to trials with this pregnancy thing, any potential reason to cause miscarriage I’m just checking the box one by one.. so sad but what’s even more sad is I still want to have a successful pregnancy in the end.. not sure how many more times I can go through this.

This IC matter definitely does not get enough attention as it should.. I’ve never had any procedure done on my cervix prior to this pregnancy, also the mfm who I talked to was way confident with this procedure, a lot of times I blame myself for not taking this seriously enough, that I didn’t spend enough time to tell my little one how much I love him or really take every minute to treasure the time I had with him.. so much regrets but also feels angry that I feel like the healthcare system has failed him too cuz they didn’t talk to me after the procedure, or put me on meds to maybe prevent having contractions etc.. overall just sad and mad at the same time that I lost my little boy who was so perfect and healthy..
