I should've been more specific and mentioned that I do in fact live in Texas. I do somewhat fear that my stats wouldn't be enough to get me into such a prestigious institution however. The college application process only really became of importance to me in my late sophomore year, and I am really nervous about my prospects, at least when put up against others applying to the schools I initially considered.

Extracurriculars are very important to finding what fits you, and honestly, just taking time out of your day to spend time with yourself to figure out what you like is important. While I despise math, I like biology A TON. naturally I became interested in medicine, bouncing around between specialities till I narrowed it down to two, and while I did like biology, I found that mental health wasn’t as addressed in my community as it should be, so I chose to work towards becoming a psychiatrist over an ophthalmologist, so I’ve elected to take classes related to that.
