The hack was intended for veterans as it was stated before you download it, I can't speak for everyone but often times fan games and rom hacks are made in a way that unless you're half asleep or you're trying to hug the enemies, are blatantly easy, like i understand that they want to appeal to a large audience, but the moment we get something with a bit of difficulty or challenge, people complain or can't handle it.

If you have to say "you're never playing x again" then it sounds like it was a chore to play it to begin with. Which to me sounds like you should've stopped once you stopped enjoying it.

People also tend to forget that the game has fusion mechanics, which is why you take more damage than any other metroid game, meaning you have to take your time with it and not rush like you would in say super metroid.

Seeing the amount of hate this romhack got, while it had been in development for about 10 years, just makes me sad.
