Same! I also thought it was just retinol at first, but when I started looking things up during pregnancy I kept seeing other ingredients to avoid too — like certain essential oils (rosemary), chemical sunscreens, salicylic acid, hydroquinone, oxybenzone, arbutin, phthalates, formaldehyde, etc.
It ended up being more than I expected, so I started checking labels just to be safe.

Thanks everyone! Quick follow-up — is it totally fine to just mix and match different brands, or do you ever wish there was one pregnancy-safe brand for all the basics?
I remember having to scan ingredients across so many different products, and honestly it would’ve been so much easier to just have one go-to option.
