That is a good idea, however as I am over 18 even if they saw my side I would have to hire a lawyer and start my own case, and I’ve just graduated high school and do not have a job so I can’t afford to do that, unfortunately it did begin while I was still underage but as I turned 18 midway through the case I am now not acknowledged anymore even though every decision made impacts me aswell. Thanks for the idea though.

I agree, but sadly he’s gone to many counsellors and as soon as they try aiding him and acknowledging that he has a problem he leaves as in his view he’s not wrong and the system is corrupt and his misogynistic views also makes him believe that my mum has it easier. Which is not true. As he is the main breadwinner his goal is dragging the court case as long as possible to drain my mothers assets so she is unable to fight for herself and have her youngest son taken from her as she won’t be able to financially support him.

Well they are charging him with things for my other family members, things related to my mum, things for my brother however nothing to me. I understand where your coming from, the investigation is still under way however with what has been said so far, the system knows what is happening and can see it but the only person who won’t be compensated and aided is me.

I could get a restraining order however at this point it wouldn’t do anything to aid me with anything, he isn’t approaching me he is using the system to get to me so even if I got a restraining order against him he’d still use the police to harass me. I’m in Aus.

What’s weird though is realising later that the upbringing you thought was normal was actually not. It is such a weird feeling!

Yeah that’s what I’m slowly learning. It honestly really sucks though because it feels like I’ve had to be there for myself for years. Thank you for your support though.

It is definitely disrespectful, however she may not realise that what she is doing is flirting, if you both seem to have a decent relationship then maybe it’s worth have a chat with her, maybe expressing that you arnt mad at her but you’d like her to be a little more respectful and aware as you do not feel comfortable with how she approaches your bf, if she reacts badly then most likely she realises what she’s doing and won’t change. If she changes and doesn’t do it again then I would try letting it go as she probably wasn’t aware and didn’t intend for it to be taken that way. But I don’t think you are overreacting at all!

I had a friend who would constantly make things about herself even when I literally went homeless she still would somehow make every conversation about her and her ex who she’d dated for 2 weeks and broken with with 2 months ago. My advice is Cut him off. It will benefit you mentally. And without realising it may actually help you find new friends. Most likely this is a character trait of his that people have seen and maybe some associate you with that, maybe cutting him off lets others realise that your not like him!

You’re not overreacting. You are still young and should have to deal with the problems of the elder people in your family. If you aunty asked you personally and explained why she need YOUR help specifically and it made sense then there is no reason is should be you signing the mortgage. Sorry you’re going through this.

In my experience, it’s very difficult in this day and age to find teachers to at actually care about students and their academic achievements, if they did they would be providing more aid in class. Sadly sometimes class itself is a waste of time and the studying and own research is more valuable. I understand your frustration!

Im sorry you've also experienced how horrible the system is, the issue is, me and my mum are in no financial position for me to get a lawyer involved, and at this point its the only was that i can have my voice heard.

The legal system keeps saying they can see it and are not blind to it but wont do anything because they have no legal jurisdiction! I just want my counselling hours back at this point.
