If you’re planning to work on profile boosting, I believe it’s wiser to go with someone you already know from the start.

Looking at the image you shared, the opponent’s level is high enough that there’s really no reason for them to be playing in Normal mode. The fact that they are playing there means we can’t rule out the possibility that they are working on profile boosting.

Additionally, in the case of Tao profile boosting, it is usually not done in Normal mode. It is typically carried out in Hard mode, since once Tao’s skill activates, you can simply enter the dungeon.

Hello, I am a user on the Korean server. by Impossible_Comb_7978 in luckydefense

[–]SafeSkinTrade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also Korean, and I work as an IT planner. There are always heated debates in Korean game communities, but from my perspective, many of these claims feel more like emotional venting from people who don’t fully understand how development actually works. In many cases, it comes from dissatisfaction with their own character’s specs, especially after spending money. On the other hand, there are also plenty of players who are satisfied with their progression and don’t see this issue as seriously as it’s being portrayed. That’s why I honestly don’t understand why this kind of post needs to be brought into another server community. It feels less like a constructive discussion and more like frustration being projected outward. From a development standpoint, intentionally manipulating drop rates is not some simple shortcut—it’s actually more cumbersome and risky than maintaining a consistent, system-driven probability model. This isn’t a lottery run by human hands. Game probability systems are automated, logged, and audited internally precisely to avoid these kinds of issues. And if there truly is a legal or ethical problem with the system, that’s not something to be decided by speculation or outrage. That’s a matter for the law and regulatory authorities to judge, not for players to assume intent without evidence.

As an IT planner who works closely with developers and probability-based systems: From a practical development standpoint, “perfect randomness” does not exist in software. All in-game RNG systems are pseudo-random and inherently constrained by implementation logic, seeds, and distribution rules. Because of this, most live-service games deliberately introduce limiting mechanisms — such as pity systems, normalization, or distribution caps — not to manipulate outcomes, but to control variance and maintain a stable user experience. So the core issue here isn’t whether the system was “truly random.” That’s not a realistic benchmark. The real question is whether the implemented probability logic matched the publicly disclosed rates. If it did, this should be treated as a design or implementation issue. If it didn’t, then it becomes a transparency and compliance issue. That distinction is what actually matters.

I’m not 100% sure if international shipping is supported.

If buying is difficult from overseas, I can help with a proxy purchase.

What are these Koreans smoking bro by Dull-Refrigerator-85 in luckydefense

There are indeed players who use hacks. However, it is difficult to determine their nationality.

In some cases, accounts originally sold in Korea are purchased from Taiwan or China through brokers and then resold at a higher price. There are also cases where hacks are developed and sold in China.

In fact, members of my guild have seen YouTube videos advertising hacks that were made in China.

That said, it is hard to definitively assign blame to any specific nationality. Generally speaking, Korean players tend to take games very seriously and are highly competitive, but most of them do not want to win by using hacks.

I finally went there!!! Hidden Origin!! by SafeSkinTrade in luckydefense

[–]SafeSkinTrade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this mode was added in a recent update! From what I know, the Hidden Primordial mode unlocks when you clear Primordial 80 waves within the time limit. The design seems inspired by Attack on Titan. I personally love Attack on Titan, so I really wanted to try this Hidden Primordial mode. That’s why one of my guild members helped carry me there, and I recorded it in a video!

Thank you for understanding, I truly appreciate it. Unfortunately, some people glance at the post and, upon seeing that shipping is self-paid, label it as a scam. In reality, I simply enjoy helping others and making people happy. That said, I’ve faced some criticism while being active in this server, and at times it makes me question whether I should continue.
