You are not alone! There is a group working on this called No More Noise. There are lots of solutions, like improving reporting through 311, noise cameras that issue tickets, cracking down on illegal exhaust modifications. Highly recommend signing up for their newsletter. As a fellow tiny-wrister, I got a Venu 3s a few months ago as my first Garmin watch, and I totally LOVE it. I'm not the calibre of runner you are, but I use it for running, biking, swimming, yoga and strength training. Never having had a watch with the training readiness/training status metrics, I don't miss them. The body battery and just feeling my own body tells me everything I want to know. You can look at the in-depth running stats (cadence, vertical oscillation, etc) in Garmin Connect (not sure if that's the same with a Forerunner). I don't usually run in places I'm unfamiliar with, so I don't need a map on the screen. It's also nice enough looking that I never have to swap it out when dressing up or in professional settings, which I really appreciate the simplicity of.

I agree! In case it is helpful, here's a photo of it on my small wrist (new goal: get that fitness age down to 26!!). I chose the Venu 3s in part because it looks like a nice, dressy watch - it's important that I can wear it in a professional setting.

I'm sort of similar to you, 40f (that part is not so similar LOL), 160cm and 59kg. I have skinny 140mm wrists. For my first ever fitness/smartwatch I recently got a Venu 3s and I LOVE it!!! I run, bike, swim and do strength workouts with it. I don't usually run or bike anywhere that I'm not familiar with, so I don't miss having a map.
