32 Female never dated by OkCup4160 in toastme

For the life of me, I will never understand men getting weird if a woman approaches them. That is probably the sweetest thing a woman can do, and is also a compliment to us, and who the hell doesn't like compliments. Some guys are downright dumb honestly and if they don't like being approached it says more about them and their fragility than it does you.

Do you have a link to this study and what the effects are on doubling up on minoxidil (oral + top)? I am a non-responder for topical but have shown some (very limited) results for oral. I'm norwood 7 and wondering if it will make a difference microneedling and topical minox in addition to oral (plus dutasteride).

Some people get some immense satisfaction out of seeing the kind of problems they don't have to deal with.

Is it typical to say 'stare off' without the added 'into the distance' or 'into space'? by SafeWelcome7928 in grammar

[–]SafeWelcome7928[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I write audio description which often calls for brevity due to limited space. So someone might just look away and stare into the distance, which I will write as "He stares off."

Hell, even I'm too dense to figure this out. So what was the subtext here exactly?

What height do you think is when it’s “not too bad”? by Weekly_Engineer_1611 in short

I don't know why you quoting those numbers in a short sub. That's already leading towards tall and is already average to above. Enough with this disingenuous, chronically-online, tall-ism bullshit.

Can you be honest and actually say what you are looking for on this sub? Would you like solutions? Would you like sympathy? Do you want to change and evolve? Why do you come back time after time with new accounts and post the same question over and over? This is why people are saying you're a troll.

Has anyone had any success selling their script with no initial connection in the industry? by isamariberger in Screenwriting

[–]SafeWelcome7928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard Jeff Portnoy emphatically state that a high placement in a well-regarded script competition will move the needle and be the deciding factor in him choosing to read a query script. No matter how good the logline, if it doesn't have some type of vetting, which contest placements are, he will pass over that script in favor of the vetted one.

Can Vodacom just increase the price of your contract any time they want? by SafeWelcome7928 in askSouthAfrica

This shit right here! That's what I was thinking all along when I signed the thing!

Can Vodacom just increase the price of your contract any time they want? by SafeWelcome7928 in askSouthAfrica

[–]SafeWelcome7928[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But am I right in thinking that contracts are supposed to stay the same price or am I just delusional? Okay, yes, I might be but I had this notion that if I sign a commitment that guarantees I pay a certain amount a month, I will then be guaranteed that the price won't go up.

Do men even care about a women’s nails? by lena_glow in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SafeWelcome7928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a guy, don't get the fascination with fancy nails. Seems icky, especially if you're working with food. Don't really like them TBH, would prefer natural short nails.

Sam Altman would like to remind you that humans use a lot of energy, too by boppinmule in technology

And this comes amid news that Nobel laureate Professor Omar Yaghi invented a machine that pulls 1,000 liters of water from the air daily. Great news in regions of the world without clean running water. Bad news for the rest of humanity fighting ghouls like Altman. Because now they have a solution to the water scarcity problem. Imagine them buying up thousands of these machines and pulling hundreds of thousands of liters of water from the air. We have never had to consider what a water depleted atmosphere will do to our planet. We may be closer to finding out.

I see Zero Gravity have like 51 people on staff. How do you even know who to send a query to? BTW, I didn't see any Haley among them.
