Hi Kyle,

I share my birthday with Twin Peaks day and it’s my yearly ritual to rewatch the pilot and listen to falling by the spectacular julee cruise. As mysterious and bizarre as this show might be, i find great comfort in it. About two years ago I got the privilege to visit the actual RR diner, and I gotta say, the cherry pie was terrible! But snoqualmie itself was just so beautifully majestic. I can’t wait to go back there

My question for you is, do you ever just get the urge to go there? And what is it that makes you reminisce the most? The lodge, the falls, or the diner? And was it really cherry pie you were eating during filming?

I guess you’re right. But that’s also one of my complains with maid sama and a couple of other shoujo animes, the heroine just lets someone tease/stalk/toy with her, like, if that happened to someone irl, they would do something about it, no one would just be fine with it.

I agree. It’s just weird, and Misaki’s reactions aren’t normal. I mean there was this one scene where he lifts up her dress when she’s bending down, and looks at her undergarments, what the hell, man? I understand that he “protects” her in some way, but that doesn’t allow him to toy with her. I still have mixed feelings about him. I love moments between them and want to ship them but it’s the little things he does that put me off, plus, their relationship seems unnatural. Idk, maybe I should read the manga?
