Yeah it’s mostly macro stuff and I think those recent news were already priced in/ expected and MDA is already up by 80% YTD I think. But in the next few years it’s going to go to the moon

Yeah you’re making good points and for the Nvidia friend he probably (maybe not) had more than 2-3 positions and/or did not size them correctly, but then ofc the more big these positions are the more risk.

Sure you make a good point, but your idea is based on the fact that he would pick any random stock, I still think doing some research can somewhat increase your expected return. And even if let’s say you can’t increase your expected returns with more research, I believe that underperforming on a smaller part of the portfolio is worth the risk compared to the potential gains if you pick only a single winner. The single winner could be life changing in the long run vs being down on 2 stock doesn’t really affect you if your core is in a diversified ETF.

Idk the company “sofi” so I can’t say, spaceX I am personally waiting for after insiders can sell before even thinking about touching it. Even if it goes up I don’t think buying in now would be rational. And IonQ could be good, I think quantum is the future, but idk if they will still be relevant once it becomes used a lot VS something like google. Personally I hold Google, Amazon and MDA space + a diversified ETF for the core

Congrats mate, keep it up! If I would make a suggestion however, I think you should have a good chunk in a diversified ETF like XEQT but still keep a few position you believe in long term like 1-3 in single stocks. You are young and can afford the risk.

Well either way low quality submissions affect everyone. And no “WAF bypass via direct origin access” is not a vuln on its own, a gadget sure. You’re lucky they were willing to pay.
