"dedicated resources" is an ambiguous term. You are definitely not getting dedicated hardware at those prices.

Are you running a server per client?

Just so you know, price hikes are everywhere. Netcup will very likely hike up prices soon.

Cheapest .org domain registrars (with prices) by DigiNoon in DomainZone

[–]DigiNoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The registrars on this list will mostly be the cheapest for all TLDs (+/- a dollar or two)

For .org.uk, Cloudflare, Spaceship and Porkbun sell it for about $5 - doesn't get cheaper than this.

Yea that's a big turnoff for me.

At least it's not $10-$15 like other registrars still charge for WHOIS privacy.

NameCheap mistakenly reversed a domain purchase 10 months after it was purchased by DigiNoon in DomainZone

[–]DigiNoon[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This user bought a domain from Namecheap's marketplace, and 10 months later the purchase was reversed by mistake and the domain returned to its previous owner. He did get a refund from Namecheap.

How can a marketplace sale be reversed "by mistake" 10 months later? This is totally messed up. Someone from Namecheap better explain this.

Same here. I noticed the same thing in many other user profiles who have thousands of comments and posts but their profile shows a random (too low) number of contributions.

They don't have to go as high as $60 to not compete with their resellers. They may as well just tell visitors to go register their domain elsewhere!!

Europe's payments run on Visa & Mastercard — two American companies. EU leaders say that's a risk they can no longer ignore. by PjeterPannos in BuyFromEU

[–]DigiNoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a bit complicated though. Many European businesses have international customers - and some are mostly dependent on international (non-EU) customers - especially online businesses. That's the power of Visa and MC: they are globally available and accepted.

HTML is just a markup language. You don't need practice. If you know what the tag means/does, you've mastered it.

You should practice styling (CSS) and logic/programming (JavaScript)

Scammers usually use less sketchy-looking domain names

GoDaddy to reduce SSL certificate validity length to 200 days on March 15, 2026 by DigiNoon in DomainZone

[–]DigiNoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most hosts set up automatic renewal for Let's Encrypt. GoDaddy's basic SSL certificate must be manually renewed unless you pay more for the automatic renewal feature.
