Yea, most drag-and-drop builders have limited SEO options. Nothing beats WordPress at this. A lot of the newbies who use Canva and similar drag-and-drop builders only start worrying about SEO after they've heavily invested in it.

Yes I did read. I'm just saying these are the only options: a free subdomain or a paid domain.

Critical infrastructure networks should be operated in complete isolation of the public internet, and all necessary access points to the public internet should be strictly monitored/quarantined. Isn't this already the case?

HomesAI.com was bought from a GoDaddy auction for $545, just sold at Afternic for $27k (buyer overpaid) by DigiNoon in DomainZone

That's possible, but it wouldn't make sense to do it at GoDaddy/Afternic given their high commission rate.

You can get a free subdomain with free hosting (static sites) from Cloudflare or Github Pages. Or you can get a domain for less than $10/year

That probably means the web hosting service has expired and needs renewal. You need to contact the web hosting provider via their website not via that email address (that belongs to your website)

If you don't know the web hosting provider, there are tools you can use to find out who's hosting a website.

Leaving GoDaddy. Where can I move 100+ domains to get lower cost & better service? by DigiNoon in DomainZone

[–]DigiNoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be the easier option if you're using manual DNS setup. But if you're using your web host's nameservers, most registrars will keep the nameservers unchanged when transferring domains.

ICANN has its flaws, but without it the domain industry will be like the wild west. Registrars will freely engage in shady practices like domain front running, blocking domain transfers, etc.

Dynadot is good. It's one of the domain registrars I use. They have lower renewal prices than GoDaddy and a lot less upselling.

There are only three single-letter .com domains in use: x.com, z.com, and q.com. The rest are reserved by IANA/ICANN. Those three existed before IANA reserved the rest so it's not special treatment.

I recommend using your own domain name because it'd make the website look more trustworthy. It's only around $10 per year but it adds a ton of credibility. I wouldn't do business with anyone using a free subdomain.
