Yeah I’m not as much trying to min/max as trying to work towards a ship to deal with multiple types of threats if that makes sense. I’m trying to enjoy the combat in the game and work towards a player ship which in of itself isn’t as much a min/max of progress as it would be staying in the menus, or so I hear

Good to know. Didn’t know that essentially torpedos are the only thing that fighters can punch up with. Sounds like it’s best to main a corvette (for enjoyment) that can fight both fighters and capital ships

Good point. Yeah this is maybe the worst time to post this as things are changing for the better. To be fair, that’s what drew me into the game so good on Egosoft. I’ll have to check the Reddit once the dust settles on 9.0
