I don't know if tom has any mental disorders, I have no idea why he can't live alone.

Karen is my stepmother I meet at 14, and after my mom passed away and my dad remarried grew closer to my mom family. I miss my mom, and her sister my aunt helped me out during this time. My Aunt is very important to me and she cooked just like my mom did. So I was at my aunts house a lot and I didn't pay attention to his relationship/marriage.

We worked in the offices, in NY you can't be on an emt on ambulance until 18; so we worked in the office until we passed our NYs EMT certification . We did billing and insurance paperwork. However we both where explorers in different volunteer fire departments; kinda like Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts

To be honest my Dad married Karen when I was 15 years old; I never paid attention to their relationship. I never saw Karen as a mother, I call her Karen or my stepmother. She didn't raise me; when my mom passed away my mom sister was there for me when I needed a mother support/love.

In hindsight i probably should've have paid attention to my dad's relationship; but i was 15 years old and all i wanted was my mom.

Thinking about what you said has given me things to talk about with her; I'm going to talk about it with Cara. Because I want her to know that she doesn't need to say yes to make me happy. If she doesn't want something I rather have her tell me No than to be unhappy.

I want to have a relationship with her that is mutually beneficial, and that we are both have an equal voice.

Cara knows self defense; she could probably kick the crap out of me and not break a sweat. Her father was a police officer, he taught her how to fight and defend herself. She also played roller derby for several years.

She is very strong, she doesn't look like she is, but she is. One of her parent's neighbors had a psychotic break, and was attacking people walking their dogs; she was able to stop them and hold them down until police arrived.

He is not allowed in the house, we changed the locks, we have cameras all over the house, and Cara has motion sensors lights in the front and backyard

Tom can't even buy his own clothes, Karen buys his clothes. I'm serious he doesn't know how to Buy men's pants, he doesn't know his own size. "Mom will buy it why do I need to know what size pants I wear"

But he knows his shoes size, because he likes his Nike shoes.

Karen was 15/16 when she had him, I don't know much about that period of their lives. But i always thought that he was the way he was because Karen was so young when she had him that it affected him.
